Vapor’s Saturday Showdown – Official Tournament Format

Tournament Format: VGC Regulation F (Doubles) Platform: Online Structure: Swiss Rounds + Top Cut

Vapor’s Saturday Showdown is a weekly online Pokémon Video Game Championships (VGC) tournament conducted under the official Regulation F Doubles format. All participating players are expected to use teams that comply fully with current Regulation F rules and team-building restrictions.

Swiss Stage

The tournament will consist of five (5) Best-of-Three Swiss rounds.

All players will compete in each round regardless of record.

Pairings will be determined by Swiss standings.

Each match will be played as a Best-of-Three set.

Standings will be determined by match record, followed by standard tiebreaker procedures if necessary.

Top Cut Stage

At the conclusion of Swiss rounds, the Top 8 players based on final standings will advance to the playoff stage.

Top Cut will be conducted as a single-elimination bracket.

All Top Cut matches will be played as Best-of-Three sets.

The winner of the final match will be declared the tournament champion.

All players are expected to compete with integrity, adhere to sportsmanlike conduct, and follow any additional procedural rulings issued by tournament staff.
