You must have some history of streaming Pokémon Pocket content on either Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok prior to February 9th.
You must have some viewable Pokémon Pocket content on whatever platform you stream to so I can verify you're a streamer. On Twitch this means you must be an affiliate and have VODs or clips to view.
During this tournament you must stream your gameplay to whatever platform you'd like until you're eliminated. It's encouraged to use a delay but it's not required.
If you receive an invite code please do not share it with anyone else. If you would like to invite someone else please send them a link to this page.
In case you don’t know me, my name is iluchien and I stream on Twitch/YouTube everyday. Streamer’s Showdown is a labor of love I run every couple of months and I wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t for the support this amazing community has given me. It’s all paid for out of pocket and I’m happy to give back to my community.
The whole idea for these tournaments is to give streamers the opportunity to showcase their skills in battle, show our viewers a good time, and most importantly to have fun as a community. During this event there will be so many channels live at once and the viewers will be rooting for their favorite streamers.
Winning this tournament bestows serious bragging rights to the victor and I’m going to be participating to try and win it myself. During this event I’m going to be featured on the front page of Twitch so this is a great opportunity to get a few new eyes onto our community. Below are all the rules and if you have any questions you can reach out via the Discord and message me there directly.
This is a double elimination tournament.
All players will be placed into a bracket and whenever a player lose a match they will be moved into a lower bracket.
Once a player loses 2 matches they are eliminated from the tournament.
The 2 remaining players from each bracket will make it to the finals.
The last remaining player wins.
Check-in for this tournament will begin 1 hour before the start time.
Players will have 5 minutes to check in at the start of each match.
If you do not check in on time you will receive an automatic loss for that match.
Players may not signup or check into the tournament after it’s started so please be on time and don’t ask for the code to join an hour before the tournament starts.
All decklists must be submitted through Limitless before the start of the tournament.
Any player that uses a deck that does not match the exact list submitted through Limitless will receive an automatic game loss and may only continue their match if the list is correct. PLEASE CHECK YOUR LISTS THOROUGHLY!
Connection issues sometimes happen. If you fail to connect with your opponent before the match begins, please search for your opponent again.
No win will be given to either player if a connection issue occurs BEFORE a game begins, regardless of who receives a victory screen.
Should a connection issue occur AFTER a game has begun, the player who receives the ‘victory’ screen will win that game.
If a tie occurs you must replay your game until a player wins or time in the round is completed.
If your game is going to tie please let a judge know in the Limitless chat before the timer is up.
Ties in the best of 3 matches count as a double loss. One win will be awarded to both players and the player who wins game 3 will win the match.
If a tie occurs in game 2 the winner of game 1 will win the match.
If players tie in game 3 the results will not be recorded for that game and they will proceed to a game 4.
Cheating will not be tolerated.
All participants will be live during this event so stream sniping another player is cheating.
Viewers giving you information from another stream is also cheating and if that occurs those viewers must be muted to maintain the integrity of the game.
If you’re found cheating you will be disqualified, banned from the next Streamer’s Showdown, and anything else I create in the future.
Should you need a judge for any reason, please only contact them through the Limitless chat.
Should there be any disputes you may submit any evidence to the ‘Judge’ section of the Discord after contacting them through Limitless.
