About the tournament rules..

The tournament structure is the following:

• 1st Phase: 7 Swiss Rounds BO1

• 2nd Phase (Top Cut): Single-elimination bracket BO3

Please note that the number of Swiss rounds is susceptible to change, depending on the number of the participants. Wins are rewarded 3 points, ties 1 point and losses 0 pts.

Intentional Ties are allowed as long as both players verbally agree to it in the limitless chat. Is that’s the case, call a judge to validate the result. Non-intentional ties in Swiss Rounds remain as they are and no tiebreakers will be played.

Ties in Top Cut: both players are awarded a win: Tie in game 1: play directly game 3. Tie in game 2: then the player who won game 1 advances to the next round. Tie occurs on a game 3: then the game must be replayed. In the rare case of a stalemate, where game 3 is tied for the 2nd time, and in the interest of the tournament pacing and time, the person who advances is the one ranked higher in the standings of the tournament on Limitless. (This seems to be the most fair solution as it takes into consideration the total W-L record and the opp. win % in both Swiss and Top Cut).

There is no entrance fee. All our tournaments are free. Prizes will be adapted according to the attendance and will be announced at the beginning of the tournament in our Discord.

• 1st place: 10$ + 1st pick from the prize pool
• 2nd place: 2nd lottery pick

The remaining cards will be given away through a lottery draw.

IMPORTANT:

• Money prizes are ONLY sent by PayPal. We won't be covering any additional bank fees.
• The card prizes will have to be traded to you (against any card of your liking). So in order to receive them, please make sure you have enough trade tokens and shinedust (25.000).
• In order to participate to the Lottery giveaway you have to JOIN OUR DISCORD SERVER. You also have be active through the WHOLE tournament. Players who DROP or MISS 2 consecutive check-ins will not be taken into consideration for the lottery! Late check-ins can participate as long as they play the rest of the tournament. Intentional ties are allowed and won't affect your eligibility for the lottery.
• Winners have 24h to claim their prizes before they get returned to the lottery pool for future tournaments

Players should always check their limitless chat and refresh the page frequently in case we need to contact them. For any issue please don’t hesitate to call a judge. Do not forget our Discord page as important announcements might pop up there!

🕰️ ⏰ Each round in Swiss Rounds is 18 minutes. Players must check in within 3 minutes. New rounds will start as soon as all the games are finished, without waiting for the timer to end, so stay alert!

Check in is mandatory in swiss rounds. If you 7miss check in your opponent gets they win unless they agree to play (but they’re not obliged to). If you chat with your opponent before the game and you miss check in please provide screenshots in the discord server with the game results.

Top Cut requires no check in and games are played without timer. If a player remains inactive (in the knockout phase) and does not contact their opponent or the judges, they get a game loss for each 5 minutes of inactivity. Please call for a judge to evaluate the situation and mark the win for you.

👨🏻‍⚖️⚖️

Wrongly declared cards in your decklist will automatically result in a game loss regardless on whether they affect the game result or not.

Honest mistakes can happen.. If you accidentally choose the wrong deck (entirely different than the one you declared), then send a screenshot on your first turn that proves sufficiently your error and then start the game again. If you make another similar mistake again in the same game, then the victory goes to your opponent. Please note that if you fail to immediately inform that you have the wrong deck and play beyond turn 1 then the game is a loss and won’t be replayed.

🐌 🐌 If your opponent is intentionally slow-playing you, please contact the staff. Some people need more time to think and that’s alright. But if a person is repeatedly waiting for the last seconds to end their turn they will be warned for slow playing. Please keep screenshots or videos of your game and especially the timer. If the in-game timer difference between players is more than 5 minutes, then the player who is being slow-played can claim the win.

🛜 🛜 Please make sure you have a good internet connection. If a connection error occurs on turn 0 (cards not dealt) then the game must be replayed. If the connection error occurs after the cards are dealt (turn 1), then the player with the victory screen gets the win. Please send screenshots on Discord.

🇺🇸 🇬🇧 To facilitate things, the language spoken in this tournament is English. Please translate your demands before typing them in the chat. This helps us win a lot of time with judge calls.
