RULES AND OTHER INFO

General Rule:

  • All BO3 matches uses official PTCGI Rules. (Loser of Game 1 picks 1st or 2nd for Game 2, and the loser of Game 2 picks 1st or 2nd for Game 3)
  • Swiss Round BO3 matches are 50 minutes long with 3 mins of Check In per round
  • Top Cut BO3 matches have no timer and no check in.
  • When time is called during Swiss Rounds BO3 the game will be a Tie, unless otherwise stated by Staff
  • When time is called during Top Cut BO3 the tiebreaker will be the total prize count for each player.
  • If time is called it is a Tie!! If you believe your opponent is "Playing Slowly", please call a Judge BEFORE THE END OF THE ROUND. The only acceptable forms of proof are: streaming your game in the Discord Server or your opponent admitting to "Playing Slowly"

Check In Policy:
It is the players responsibility to Check In prior to each match - failure to do so will result in an automatic Game Loss. If your opponent wants to reset the match, they will need to be the one to call the Judge.

Incorrect Deck:
If you select a wrong deck, it's your opponent's discretion to allow the match to restart. If the opponent does not allow or multiple turns have passed, Game 1 will be a loss.

Bugs and Glitches:
If you experience any of the following, but not limited to: Game Freezing, Internet Issues, Server Issues, Game Lag, Software Glitch, Device Crashing - it will be awarded as a Game Loss to the player experiencing the issue if the game is unusable. Otherwise attempt to finish the game if possible. If the issue is at the very start of the match (ex: one player hasn't been able to load into to the match on their end to even start) the match will be restart 1 time. If it happens a 2nd time, a Game Loss will be awarded to the player experiencing the issue.

End of Match:
All games must be reported on Limitless before time has been called for the round otherwise they will be a "Tie". You can concede to your opponent to give them the "Win", but if there isn't a recorded result before time is called, it will stay a "Tie" It is strongly recommended to have screenshot proof of any win or tie upon the conclusion of a game. If you leave a game without explicitly stating "time is over, this is a tie" or something similar, it could be perceived as a concession.

Streaming:
Players are allowed to stream their personal event experience on any streaming service and it is recommended to have a delay on your stream to avoid "stream sniping" or any other disadvantages. Any advantages gained by streaming, such as receiving assistance from your audience, can lead to penalties after staff investigates the situation.

Judge Calls:
Issues and problems during your match will be handled by Tournament Staff - please use the Judge Call button. Any issues brought up on Discord won't be guaranteed to be answered. PLEASE DO NOT SPAM THE JUDGE CALL BUTTON as we may have very limited staff and only use it only when absolutely necessary. I trust everyone here to be an adult and a professional who can resolve problems on their own.

Inappropriate Behavior:
Any player who is found breaking rules, using in game exploits, bullying, harassing, etc. will receive penalties in the order of a Warning, followed by Removal from the Tournament
