Welcome to Tuesday Night Throwdown, a VGC tournament to give players some high-level practice for any upcoming tournaments!

Event: Tuesday Night Throwdown

Platform: Nintendo Switch, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Format: [Gen 9] VGC Regulation F

Prize: $25 for 1st

For the first edition of Tuesday Night Throwdown, we've opted to pay a $25 prize to the winner--the level of play is sure to be high! Register early--you don't want to miss this!

We follow the VGC rules created by the Pokemon Company.

1. Treat everyone with respect, regardless of position or player skill. We do not tolerate unsportsmanlike conduct at our tournament.
2. Please ensure your teamsheets are correct before you submit them. Errors on your teamsheet must be declared to your opponent before the set begins—otherwise, the set is lost.
3. Please report any connection errors to a judge by either requesting a judge or posting in the Discord.
4. Don’t be rude to newer players—we’re all here to have fun and play our favorite game!
5. If you have any questions, please call a judge!

Our tournament follows a Swiss format. The number of rounds will vary based on the number of players.

• Under 16 players: 4 Swiss Rounds, Top 4 Final Cut
• 17-24 players: 4 Swiss Rounds, Top 8 Final Cut
• 25-32 players: 5 Swiss Rounds, Top 8 Final Cut
• 33-48 players: 5 Swiss Rounds, X-2 Final Cut
• 49-64 players: 6 Swiss Rounds, X-2 Final Cut
• 64+ players: 6 Swiss Rounds, x-2 Final Cut
