King of VGC – VGC 2022 (Sword/Shield, Series 12) Week 10

Hello Trainers! We’re back for Week 10 of the King of VGC circuit — and this time, we’re shifting into VGC 2022 (Series 12), the first double restricted format of the Sword & Shield era ⚔️🔥

Series 12 allows teams to run two restricted Pokémon, completely redefining how games are played. Power spikes are higher, matchups are sharper, and team-building revolves around finding the right restricted pairing. Whether it’s offense-focused duos, defensive cores, or speed-control engines, synergy between your restricteds often decides the outcome before the first turn even begins.

With access to legendary-heavy teams, speed control, positioning, and resource management become absolutely critical. Dynamax usage, Protect timing, and endgame planning are what separate consistent players from risky ones. One misplay can instantly cost the game — but one perfect read can dismantle even the strongest compositions.

With only 5 weeks remaining before our Invitationals, the race is heating up. The top 16 players on the leaderboard will earn their spot to compete for the ultimate title of King of VGC 👑

There’s still plenty of time to rack up circuit points, make a late-season push, and climb the leaderboard — every week counts.

Structure:

17-32 players > 5 swiss rounds > Top 8 (right after swiss)
33-64 players > 6 swiss rounds > Top 8 (right after swiss)
65-128 players > 7 swiss rounds > Top 16 (right after swiss)

Prizes
