King of VGC – VGC 2021 (Regulation 9) Week 9

Hello Trainers! We’re back for Week 9 of the King of VGC circuit — and this time, we’re stepping into VGC 2021 (Regulation 9), one of the most competitive stages of the Sword & Shield era ⚔️🔥

With teams built entirely around non-restricted Pokémon, Regulation 9 emphasizes fundamentals: solid team structure, effective speed control, and precise in-game decision-making. Every turn matters, and consistency is key.

With 5 more weeks to go before our Invitationals, the race is far from over. The top 16 players will earn their spot to fight for the ultimate title of King of VGC 👑

There’s still plenty of time to rack up circuit points, make a late-season push, and climb the leaderboard — every week counts.

Structure:

17-32 players > 5 swiss rounds > Top 8 (right after swiss)
33-64 players > 6 swiss rounds > Top 8 (right after swiss)
65-128 players > 7 swiss rounds > Top 16 (right after swiss)

Prizes

🏅 Circuit points toward the King of VGC Leaderboard 🏆 The eventual King of VGC Champion (after the full circuit) will receive a trophy and exclusive rewards.
