About The Tournament
- This tournament is newly started for the Pokémon Pocket Community "Fire House". This community is primarily in Discord and on TikTok Live Streams!
- We will be having more tournaments by this community in the future with prizes for the winners. Plan is to run at least ONE Tournament per week!
- Next tournament will not have an entry code.
- All information regarding future tournament dates and events will be communicated in the Fire House discord server.
Rules
Decklist Submission
- Your decklist must be submitted on Limitless! This will be the only decklist allowed for the entire tournament.
- If you notice your opponent using a different decklist, please call a judge.
- If you accidentally select the wrong deck, take proof (screenshot or video) and you may reveal a card to prove the mistake and restart the game with the correct deck. This only applies to the first game of a series, after which bringing the wrong deck will count as a game loss.
- Players must participate under the same username that entered upon submission.
Tournament Check-in
- Check-in and decklist submission opens 1 hour before the tournament starts.
Round Check-in
- Each round has a 5-minute check-in period.
- If your opponent doesn’t show up within 5 minutes of both players checking in, please contact a judge.
- If you’re chatting with your opponent and they haven’t checked in, kindly remind them. If they still don’t check in, call a judge.
- Check-in overrides any action or decision by the Judge. Missing check-in is equivalent to losing the match. We understand it’s hard to accept a loss for this reason. In case of a bug preventing check-in, the player must report it to the judge as soon as possible. PENALTY: Loss due to missed Check-in / Double loss if both players miss Check-in.
Swiss Rounds
- Swiss rounds are played as BO1 matches lasting 20 minutes.
- Each round includes a 5-minute check-in window.
- Rounds may start early if all games are completed.
Top Cut
- Top Cut is played in BO3 format.
- Finals matches must be screen-shared on Discord for the Live Stream & YT Vod in the near future. (Unless Admin decides its not needed) For this first series #1, streaming matches in the discord server is not needed unless you'd like to.
Ties
- If the BO1 is completed but the result isn’t submitted in time, call a judge and have a screenshot ready.
- For complex situations or disputes, a judge will make a final ruling.
- Tie Agreements are allowed to improve your chance to make the cut if both players agree to it. Please contact a judge to finalize this decision and award both players a tie point.
- If the round time limit concludes prior to the match ending, please request a judge and provide proof of your win so the correct match winner gets the point.
Connection Issues & Turn 0 Situations
- If the game fails to start, simply restart it.
- If a disconnect happens mid-game, the player with the Victory Screen will be awarded the win.
Contacting Judges
- Please use the Limitless chat only to contact judges.
- Communicate with the judge clearly and precisely in ENGLISH. Always answer the judge's questions. Avoid unnecessary arguments and always wait for the judge’s ruling. The judge’s ruling is ALWAYS FINAL and UNDISPUTABLE.
- Always take a screenshot of your Victory Screen with a timestamp. Including the opponent's name, so you can quickly call a judge to resolve incorrect match reporting.
- Be ready to provide screenshot or video of your proof to the Discord channel
- If neither player has sufficient proof in a dispute, the match will be marked as a DGL (Double Game Loss).
Conduct and Rule Violations
- Breaking rules, harassment, or any inappropriate behavior will result in penalties.
- Please be respectful to other players and judges at all times.
- If a player is caught or reported expressing homophobic, racist, disrespectful, or any other hate-related messages through Limitless Chat, Discord Chat, or any other form of communication, they will be disqualified from the ongoing tournament and, depending on the severity, banned from all future events. The judge reserves the right to evaluate any behavior considered disrespectful or unsportsmanlike toward the opponent, the judge, or anyone else.
