Some will rise on instinct. Others will learn too late that preparation and belief are not the same thing. When the dust settles, only 32 trainers will still be standing.

The ground never stops moving. Every match carries weight now. Decks will be tested, nerves exposed, and patience punished. Wins will be earned, not stumbled into. Only those who are adapting, enduring, and pretending they aren’t stressed will survive. The ground stops shaking, and only 16 trainers are left standing.

The Collapse — Top Cut

There is no room left to recover. One loss meant the end. The ThunderDome will claim its due as trainers fall one by one, until only one remains standing in the wreckage. When it was over, nothing tangible was awarded. Just the knowledge that, for one Sunday, they endured the Aftershock and walked away standing.

DECKLISTS

  • Opens day of the tournament. Better pretend you weren’t going to procrastinate.
  • Must be submitted on Limitless. If that surprises you, I worry.
  • Decks must only contain the cards you registered with. If you bring any others, fix it or lose it.
  • Same deck list for the whole event. Commitment issues? Too bad.
  • Opponent using a different list? Call a judge and enjoy the drama.
  • Picked the wrong deck by accident? Flash a card, restart, pretend you’re fine.

TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN

  • Opens 1 hour before the start.
  • Fail to check in? You’re removed, but don’t worry, you can still crawl back in with a default loss.

ROUND CHECK-IN

  • Each round has a 3-minute check-in window.
  • Opponent disappears? Call a judge.
  • Opponent is typing but not checking in? Nudge. If they still don’t check in, judge time.

TIES

  • NO INTENTIONAL TIES
  • A tie = both players get a win
  • If Game 1 ties, the next game decides it
  • If Game 1 had a winner, and Game 2 ties, the Game 1 winner wins. Logical enough that it hurts.
  • If you tie game 3, play a 4th game, but the first to score a point wins.

CONNECTION + TURN 0

Tech fails. Deal with it.
