Hey You!!! Join the Discord Do it!! I promise it’s not a total absolute waste of time.

Phase One: Swiss Rounds

Basically musical chairs, but with pixels and less cardio.

  • Swiss Rounds BO1
  • Check-in: 5 minutes (don’t blink)
  • Round Timer: 20 minutes (just enough time to misplay twice)

Round Count: Because math

  • 35–64 players → 5 rounds → Top 8 Adv
  • 65–129 players → 6 rounds → Top 16 Adv
  • 130–230 players → 7 rounds → Top 32 Adv
  • 231–350 players → 8 rounds → Top 32 Adv
  • 351+ players → 8 rounds → Top 64 Adv

More players means more rounds. Shocking.

Phase Two: Top Cut

Where hopes and dreams go to die.

  • Top players from Swiss advance
  • Single Elimination Bracket (BO3)
  • Check-in: Nah, just magically appear on time
  • Round Timer: If it takes you longer than 30 minutes, reconsider your hobbies

VoidPocket – Rules

Yes, rules. You can’t just yell and click buttons forever.

Decklist Submission

  • Opens day of the tournament. Better pretend you weren’t going to procrastinate.
  • Must be submitted on Limitless. If that surprises you, I worry.
  • Decks must only contain the cards you registered with. If you bring any others, fix it or lose it.
  • Same deck list for the whole event. Commitment issues? Too bad.
  • Opponent using a different list? Call a judge and enjoy the drama.
  • Picked the wrong deck by accident? Flash a card, restart, pretend you’re fine.

Tournament Check-in

  • Opens 1 hour before the start.
  • Fail to check in? You’re removed, but don’t worry you can still crawl back in with a default loss.

Round Check-in

  • Each round has a 5-minute check-in window.
  • Opponent disappears? Call a judge.
  • Opponent is typing but not checking in? Nudge. If they still don’t check in, judge time.

Swiss Rounds

  • Best of 1 (BO1)
  • 20 minutes of adrenaline and regret
  • 5-minute check-in because we thrive in chaos

Top Cut

  • Best of 3 (BO3)
  • Single elimination, like reality TV but more painful
  • Opponent missing? After 10 minutes, Game 1 is yours. After 15, the whole match is. Boom.

Ties

Because of course someone will figure out how to tie in a 20 minute BO1.

  • A tie = both players get a win
  • If Game 1 ties, the next game decides it
  • If Game 1 had a winner, and Game 2 ties, Game 1 winner wins.

Logical enough that it hurts.

Connection Issues & Turn 0 Situations

Basically, if technology implodes, good luck.

  • If it won’t start, restart
  • Disconnect mid-game? Victory Screen is law
  • Blank history screen? Nobody wins; take a screenshot and go cry in judge-calls

Contacting Judges

Only summon them in Limitless chat. Think of them like very tired wizards.

  • Screenshot Victory Screens
  • Timestamp everything
  • No proof? Congratulations: Double Game Loss

Prize Distribution

Real money. Not Monopoly money. Actual currency.

  • Paid via PayPal
  • Winners must message @uahawke within 48 hours or lose out forever
  • Forget to claim? Congrats, you played yourself
