TOURNAMENT RULES & FORMAT

FORMAT

  • Standard Deck Format (Proxies permitted)
  • Live cam tournament only (No digital sims)
  • Swiss Tournament Format (4 rounds total)
  • Each round is best-of-three matches
  • The player with the most points at the end of 4 rounds is the winner
  • Games must be completed within 5 days of a new round starting, or both players forfeit that round

RULES

No cheating, you degens If you choose to play in a public forum, make sure to tell your spectators that this is a tournament game and they SHOULD NOT commentate on the game in chat or on mic until all 3 rounds are fully completed

  • Entry Fee: $10 (contributed to the prize pool)
  • Payment: Send entry fee to Rose upon registration -- Please include your Twitter name in the memo
  • Prizing:Rose will distribute prize money to winners at the end of the tournament
  • Deck Rules: You must use ONE deck for the entire tournament. No deck swaps or card changes after the tournament begins
  • Deck Lists: All deck lists will be publicly visible to opponents once the tournament starts
  • Match Reporting: Report your match results through the Limitless Player Dashboard
  • Round Progression: Each new round begins immediately after all match results from the previous round are reported
  • Streaming: If you stream your matches, do not stream snipe your opponent. Cheating is lame.
  • Dispute Resolution: If your opponent is preventing you from playing or completing a round, please privately report to Rose BEFORE the end of the round for a judge ruling.

PRIZING

  • Cash prize pool is determined by the number of participants
  • If fewer than 6 players enter: Winner takes all
  • If 6 or more players enter: Prize money is distributed as follows:
    • 1st place: 50%
    • 2nd place: 30%
    • 3rd place: 20%
  • Additional prizing provided by Azuki TCG (TBA)

SCHEDULE

  • Round 1 starts on December 26th at 6 PM CT
  • Players have 5 days to complete their best-of-three matches
  • If a match is not played within the allotted time, the player responsible for delaying the match receives an automatic loss
  • New rounds begin as soon as all match results from the previous round are reported
