Rules

General Information:

  • We strongly encourage you to join the 🔗 Hype Packs! Discord server, in order for the best possible experience, including communication, any questions you might have, streaming and prize rewards. (if eligible)
  • You must add your discord profile to your limitless profile when you sign-up to ensure your spot so you do not get removed!
  • Everyone is welcome to participate! However, all communication must be in ENGLISH. Please ensure that you can communicate in English and can READ and follow the rules accordingly.
  • All participants must be able to, at the minimum, have the ability to discord screen share/stream their gameplay ON DEMAND if required by a Judge, Staff or Administrator.
  • You must also be comfortable with the possibility that your gameplay may be recorded for streaming/twitch/youtube/tiktok purposes. Please do not sign up for the tournament if you cannot or do not have the ability or know-how to stream your games. Failure to do so on request will result in an automatic round loss and drop/disqualification from the tournament and forfeiture of any prizes.
  • Please follow the rules and treat everyone with respect.
  • Be vigilant about taking and keeping screenshots of all your game wins and situations that may be disputed and/or require a judge.

Decklist Submission:

  • Your decklist must be submitted on LimitlessTCG. This will be the ONLY decklist permitted for the entire tournament.
  • If you notice your opponent using a different decklist, please call a JUDGE immediately.
  • A first offense will result in a game loss. A second offense will result in a round loss, and lastly, a third offense will result in you being disqualified and dropped from the tournament.
  • Please ensure that you are using the correct decklist you submitted, and be vigilant and keep track that your opponent is also using the correct decklist.
  • Players must submit the energy type(s) being used for their decklist upon submission.
  • Players must participate under the same username that was entered upon decklist submission.

Tournament Check-In:

  • Check-in and decklist submission opens 1 hour before the scheduled start time of the tournament.
  • Check-in and decklist submission ends 5 minutes before the start of the tournament.
  • Players who do not check-in will be removed from the tournament.

Round Check-In:

  • At the beginning of each round there is a 5-minute check-in period.
  • It is your responsibility to be aware of when the rounds will begin and to be punctual.
  • If your opponent doesn’t show up within the allotted 5-minutes check-in time, contact a judge.
  • If a player has checked-in within the 5-minutes at the start of the round and their opponent has not shown up - after 5 minutes have passed, the player who has not checked-in will receive a **game loss. After 10 minutes after check-in has lapsed, it is a round loss.**

Swiss Rounds:

  • Swiss rounds are played as BO3 (Best of 3) games lasting 40 minutes.
  • Each round includes a 5-minute check-in window.
  • Rounds may start early if all games are completed.
  • 3 Points awarded for a round win.
  • 1 Point awarded for a tie.
  • 0 Point for a loss.

Top Cut:

  • Top Cut will be played as a single-elimination bracket in the BO3 format.
  • Top Cut and Finals Games/Rounds MUST be screen-shared via Discord.

Ties:

  • If the 40-minute timer ends and the score is 1-1, the round will be recorded as a draw.
  • If the BO3 is completed but the result isn’t submitted in time, call a judge and have a screenshot ready.
  • If the round ends 1-0 when the timer runs out, the player with 1 win will be declared the winner.
  • For complex situations or disputes, a judge will make a final ruling.
