Participation Rules for the Nachtwache Tournament #1 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

• All players must complete the check-in process, which opens an hour before the tournament starts.

• Anyone who does not check in on time will receive an automatic game loss.

• Players may use any cards that are currently legal in the PTCGL Standard format.

• Match timers are required in every game to ensure that slow play can be properly monitored.

• If your game experiences a disconnect, error, or glitch, you must notify a judge. When doing so, you need to provide a screenshot or video clip to help with the ruling. Because PTCGL can be unstable at times, only issues reported during the check-in window will be reviewed so the event can stay on schedule.

• If no screenshot or recording is provided, judges cannot issue an accurate ruling, and the win will go to the player who was not affected by the issue. Judges may also request screenshots from both players to understand what happened.

• Unsportsmanlike behavior is strictly prohibited. If evidence of such conduct is presented, the player will be disqualified from this free event.

• If time runs out in a Best-of-1 round and no winner has been determined, the match will be recorded as a tie. To avoid misunderstandings, all players are encouraged to take screenshots or recordings that could help the Judge resolve disputes.

• If an incorrect match result is submitted, contact a judge immediately and be prepared to show a screenshot or recording of the correct outcome.

• It is highly recommended to save a screenshot after every win or tie.

• During Top Cut, both players must remain in contact with the staff when time is called. Failure to do so may result in penalties, which can include a double game loss, to keep the tournament running smoothly.

• To receive prizes, players must join the Discord server.

• Number of Rounds in swiss and players in Top-Cut (Top 4 /Top 8) may vary based on the number of participating players.

• As this is our first tournament, we'd appreciate to recieve feedback from our players so we can improve our future tournaments.
