🏆 General Information

  • Format: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – Regulation H
  • Platform: Nintendo Switch
  • Entry Cap: Maximum 32 players
  • Format Type: Swiss Rounds + Top Cut (depending on number of players)
  • Battle Format: Double Battle (VGC Ruleset)
  • Team Lock: Yes – Players must use the same team throughout the tournament.
  • Open Team Sheet: Required (see below)
  • Top Cut will take place the same day
  • Teamsheet errors will result in a game loss
  • Failure to check-in will result in a round loss

📋 Team Sheet Requirements

EVERYONE MUST SUBMIT AN ACCURATE TEAM SHEET!

Your team sheet must include:

  • Pokémon species and form
  • Ability
  • Held Item
  • Moves
  • Tera Type

⚠️ If a player fails to list all six Tera Types, penalties may apply, including potential game losses.


If matches in a given round end early, the start time of the next round may be updated to an earlier time.

🕒 Match Timers & Check-In

If a player fails to check in within the time window, it may result in an automatic loss.

* Tournament may be extended by one additional round.

All Swiss rounds are played in order and paired using Swiss pairing (no elimination). After Swiss rounds, standings determine Top Cut qualification.


⚔️ Battle Rules

  • Regulation H Ruleset applies.
  • All Pokémon must be caught or obtained legally within the game or transferred legally via Pokémon HOME.
  • No hacked or modified Pokémon are allowed.

❌ Disconnections & Penalties

  • If a disconnect occurs, players must immediately contact a judge.
  • Intentional disconnections or manipulation of connection may result in disqualification.
  • Rule disputes will be handled by judges and the TO; all judge decisions are final.

🧠 Sportsmanship

Players are expected to maintain respectful and fair play throughout the event. Harassment, unsportsmanlike conduct, or cheating will result in disqualification and potential bans from future events.


🧑‍⚖️ Judging & Appeals

  • Dispute Resolution: All disputes will be resolved by the Tournament Organizer (TO) and appointed judges. Their decisions are final and binding.
  • Reporting Issues: Players must report any issues or disputes immediately to a judge. Delays in reporting may affect the outcome of the dispute.
  • Code of Conduct: Players are expected to maintain respectful behavior. Any form of harassment, cheating, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification.

This tournament is free to enter and offers no prizes. Participation is for fun and community engagement only.
