Tourney Rules
Please ensure you follow the rules below. Failure to comply with any of the rules may result in your disqualification and potentially ban from future tournaments depending on the seriousness of the offence.
- Always ensure that you have timed screenshots to prove your claim in the event of a match dispute.
- In the event of connection issues, 1) if the issue occurred at the beginning of the match before the game starts, players should start again, or 2) if the issue occurs mid-match, the player with the victory screen will be deemed the winner.
- In the event of failing to check-in on time, the match can continue if both players agree, otherwise the player who failed to check-in will record a loss.
- If you run out of time during the Swiss Round phase it will count as a tie, unless both players agree to override the results. Call a Judge for assistance where applicable.
- During Top Cut the following tie breaker rules applies - if the tie occurs Game 1 then whoever wins Game 2 wins. If the tie occurs Game 2 then whoever won Game 1 wins. If the tie occurs Game 3, then it goes to sudden death, i.e. in a new game whoever gets the first (prize) point wins.
- Please ensure your in-game name matches the name you've used to register. Any discrepancies will result in a game loss or disqualification.
- Any proven instance of cheating or using tools to gain an advantage will result in a disqualification.
- You will incur a game loss per 10 mins of being away (AFK), so it's important to be present (if not let the relevant people know).
