Rules:
The tournament will be conducted using a double-elimination bracket format, with each match played as a best-of-three (Bo3) series. In the grand finals, the player advancing from the lower bracket must defeat the upper bracket player twice to claim the title.
Decklist Submission: Please submit your decklist here via Limitless. Players who do not submit their list before the tournament starts will be dropped automatically. You can use ExBurst or the Limitless Bulder to create a decklist.
Check-in policy: There will be no check-in time or time limit for each match. However, if a player fails to communicate with their opponent within 5 minutes, they will lose game 1. If communication is not established after an additional 5 minutes, they will lose game 2, resulting in the loss of the match.
Game Ties: In the event of an in-game tie, players must start a new game to determine the tiebreaker. The first player to knockout a Pokémon in this tiebreaker game will be declared the winner of the tied game. Once a winner is determined for the tied game, the players may proceed with any remaining games as necessary.
Incorrect deck: If you've chosen the wrong deck at the beginning of round 1, do not start to play and restart immediately. Pressing "start play" results in an immediate match loss. Starting from the second offense, a match loss will be assigned each time. Choosing a wrong deck at a later round will result in an immediate match loss from the first offense.
Bugs and Glitches: If you encounter issues like game freezing, internet problems, or crashes, it will result in a match loss for the affected player, unless the game can be continued. If this issue occurs at the beginning of a match (one player can't load into the match), it doesn't count. You can identify this if a screenshot shows 0 turns played.
Completed matches: After completing your matches, please remember to submit the results. Be sure to keep screenshots or a recording of each round in case any disputes arise. Judges can't verify any result without these.
Bad manners and Inappropriate behavior: Players displaying bad manners toward others or staff will receive an immediate game loss. Continued misconduct may lead to disqualification, while further offenses could result in a season-long ban. Bad manners include insults, toxicity, bullying, and harassment.
Streaming: It is mandatory that, prior to starting a match, players ensure that at least one of them, preferably both, actively screen-shares their gameplay through one of our Discord vcs. Players must clearly indicate the channel used for screen-sharing and await authorization from a tournament judge before proceeding with the match.
- Call a Judge: If you encounter any issues with Limitless, the game or your opponent, please use the "Call a Judge" feature within Limitless. A judge will join your chat and help you with your problem.
Prizing:
A total prize of $100 will be awarded to the top 4:
- 1st: $50
- 2nd: $30
- 3rd & 4th: $10
