• What you are playing for: You are playing for a spot in what is known as The Battle Tower. Above is the format in which you will play if you win this tournament. The tournament above is held completely in Discord and will require a significant time commitment of at least 8 weeks on average.
• DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS TOURNAMENT IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE ABOVE RULES AND HAVE A TEAM. YOU WILL BE DROPPED.

• Double elimination bracket — 2 chances to take the spot!
• This tournament is a 3v3 BO3 with each team member playing 1v1s simultaneously.
• Discord and groups are limited to 2 teams entering at any given time. If it is discovered that you entered more than 2 teams, your team will be removed immediately from the Tower.

• Forcing ties: Slow play to force ties = round loss. Repeat = drop from tournament.
• Ties: The match will be replayed until a winner is decided.
• Players may join other tournaments, but we will not delay for one participant.

• Deck Rules: Pokémon Pocket allows 20 cards.
• Restrictions: Each team member must have a different deck. Players may not use the same Pokémon cards as their teammates. A different card is one that uses a different ability, attack, or has a different attribute than its counterpart. (An example would be Fighting Poliwrath EX and Poliwrath from A1.)
• Energy Rule: Teams may NOT swap or change energy at any time.

• Decklist Submission: Submit via Limitless. Late submissions are allowed, but previous rounds will not be forgiven.
• Check-in: This tournament doesn’t have a check-in button as it’s a double elimination bracket. However, if you go AFK, you will lose 1 match point every 5 minutes you are AFK. Pay attention to your chat and refresh constantly.
• Incorrect Deck: If chosen by mistake, you will lose that round automatically. If you restart or claim you selected the wrong deck, you will lose automatically. If you play the wrong card, you will lose automatically. Pay attention to what deck you select for this tournament. Additionally, if a player uses a card not in their decklist screenshot — and if you did not screenshot — we cannot help you.
• Incorrect Card: Report with screenshots to judges (place the screenshot in Qualifier Issues with the Table Number). Cosmetic text-only variations don’t count.
• Bugs/Glitches: If the app crashes, the player who gets the victory screen keeps the point. Turn-zero crashes can be reset with evidence. In the event a match ends during turn 0, it will be replayed with players going in the same turn order.
• Match Results: Always screenshot results. (If you don’t screenshot, in case of dispute, matches will be replayed regardless of actual results if we do not have verifiable proof.)
• Ties: Replay until a winner is decided. If time expires, the tie stands unless one player has a prior win.
• Accountability: Screenshots of all results must include a timestamp and player name.
• Bad Manners: Toxicity/harassment = game loss → DQ → season ban.
• Streaming: Personal streams are allowed, but stream-sniping = DQ.
• Judge Calls: Use Limitless’s “Call a Judge” feature. Be ready with screenshots.
• Starting Match: Share the code in Limitless chat. If issues arise, use Discord. Names must match.
• Showdown! Rule: If both agree → Bo1 instead of Bo3. No disputes after result.
• Unforeseen Issues: Screenshot and report in #qualifier-issues or open a ticket/email us.

The first-place winner of this qualifier will earn a spot in Battle Tower Conquest, which has a paid entry fee of $100. Please read the document above for more information on this format and its rules. Do not enter this tournament if you do not have the time to commit to a tournament that takes at least 8–12 weeks.

Current prize pool is $1000 and can only increase as more teams register.

• Clarification: Anyone can register and enter this tournament. We only ask that you please ensure you’ve read the guidebook carefully and understand that we do have a cap. Currently, 8 teams have already agreed to register, and we have 2 qualifier teams. With the entry fee being $100, that brings the prize pool to $1000 as mentioned above.
• Bonus: Additionally, there is a $200 mini-tournament within this tournament that all teams get to compete in simply for successfully registering. You can read more about it in the guidebook above.
