Tournament Rules

TOURNAMENT AND ROUND CHECK-IN:

• CHECK-IN: Players must check in 1 hour prior to the tournament start AND for each round within the allotted time. Failure to check in will result in either a match loss or round loss.
• Reporting Results: After each match, both players must report the result on the Limitless TCG platform. Provide screenshot evidence for any disputes.
• Time Limit: Each round has a set time limit. Games started before time expires may be completed. If series is 1-1 when time expires, the match ends in a tie. We may or may not take the last game into consideration if it doesn't take too long to resolve, based on judges discretion.
• End of Round/Start of new round: Each round has a set time limit as mentioned above. in cases where games are finished early and all calls are resolved the next round may start early and its the responsibility of the player to keep an eye out for their new matchups.
• TOP CUTS streaming: Certain games from top cuts and all games from top 8 will be asked to stream their games in the discord, please be ready to do so to be eligible for the prize.

RULES AND GUIDELINES:

• Format: This will be a swiss tournament followed by topcuts. check at the bottom of the page for number of rounds and Round schedule. Schedule for each round is subject to change based on how long games take.
• Deck Submission: All players must submit their deck list before the tournament starts. No changes allowed after the tournament starts.
• Fair Play: Any form of cheating, unsportsmanlike behavior, or use of unauthorized tools will result in disqualification.
• Technical Issues: Notify a judge immediately if you experience technical difficulties. Matches may be restarted if both players agree.
• General Behaviour and misconduct: Be respectful to your opponent and the judges. we're trying to create a positive experience for everyone involved, and any misconduct will result in penalties based on the judges discretion. Rule Sharking is also not allowed, we expect sportsmanlike behaviour throughout the tournament, please dont create additional work for our judges.
• Tie Game: If game 1 is a tie, both players get 1 win each and move onto game 3. if game 2 is a tie, winner of game 1 wins the round.
• Stream Sniping: Stream sniping is hard to prove without overwhelming evidence, hence all public streamers are expected to take responsibility upon themselves regarding their games, if they plan to stream their tournament run.
• Wrong Username: Having a different username in game and on limitless will be permitted. however if a player is found to have two different names / using two accounts in between games / rounds they will be disqualified.
• Judge Decisions: Judges have final say in all rulings. Provide evidence via Discord when disputing.

CONNECTION ISSUES:

• Before coin flip: May be restarted once
• After coin flip: Disconnected player loses (screenshot proof required in all cases of activity calls)

• Inactivity: 5 minutes inactive after check-in results in one game loss, and 10 minutes inactivity results in round loss. make sure you have screenshot of searching with the code, and not finding opponent along with a timestamp to make your case clear and claim the win. alternatively for a false call, you will also need the timestamp to prove otherwise.
• Tiebreakers: Determined by game rules or organizer's discretion.
