Syztms' Pocket League

Welcome to Syztms' Pocket League!

We're building a competitive Pokémon tournament series focused on quick, high-stake battles that respect your time. Our league is perfect for trainers who want to test their skills in a fast-paced environment without a huge time commitment.

I understand that people are busy - that’s why Syztms' Pocket League events are designed to be short, snappy, and easy to fit into your schedule without losing the excitement of competition.

Tournament Structure

Our tournaments are designed for speed and intense competition.

Single-Elimination Knockout: Every match is a high-stakes, best-of-1 match. Win and you move on; lose and you're out. This format ensures short, snappy games that fit your busy schedule.

Standard Format: Bring your best team! Our leagues follow the standard format, so any Pokémon is allowed. This is your chance to build your perfect team and show off your strategic genius.

Dedicated Judges: We have a team of judges to ensure every match is fair. They are available to handle any rulings or disputes that may arise during a tournament.

Community and Competition: Join our Discord to become part of our growing community of trainers. Make new friends, get tips and tricks, and see your name - and even your winning decklist - immortalized in our Hall of Fame section on Discord.

Tournament Rules

To ensure a smooth and fair experience for everyone, please be aware of our key policies:

Fair Play: Be respectful at all times. Toxic behavior or offensive usernames will result in removal.

Deck Integrity: You must use the same deck you submitted. Using a different deck will result in an automatic loss.

Match Start: A match is valid only after the coin flip has begun. Wins claimed before this, or when your opponent isn't online, are not valid.

Late Check-In: It is your responsibility to check in on time. If you are late checking in, this will result in a loss.

Documenting Wins: In case of a dispute, always take a screenshot of the victory screen.

Ties: Players will play another match and attempt to finish within the allocated time, if players do not finish the game second time around, the player with the most points will be granted the winner. If by chance the second game is also tied, the winner will be decided by a quick third game in a sudden death scenario. First player to get a point wins.

Unfinished Matches: If a match isn't finished by the end of the round, it's considered a tie, unless one player is clearly at fault for the delay.

Calling a Judge: Judges are here to make fair calls. If you and your opponent can resolve an issue on your own, you do not need to call a judge.

Connection Issues: A disconnection due to app or internet issues results in a loss, unless it occurs before the coin flip.

Playing Slow: If you notice a time difference of over 4 minutes between players, take a screenshot and report it on Discord. The player who is not at fault can then claim a win.

Password Issues: If the match password doesn't work, both players must agree on a new one.
