This unique tournament challenges trainers to build teams using Pokémon that all come from the same region. It’s a great way to test creativity, and adaptability, all while sharpening your VGC skills.

⚔️ Team Building Rules ⚔️

Monoregion Requirement: All Pokémon on your team must have been originally discovered in the same region (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, Paldea, or Hisui).

Regional forms count as being from the region they were discovered in (Ex: Alolan Ninetales counts as Alola and Kantonian Ninetails counts as Kanto). (The only Exception being Bloodmoon Ursaluna which will be counted as a Hissuain Pokemon)

We are playing regulation H style rules so no restricteds or legends will be legal.

Cross-generation evolutions only count as the region of discovery. (Ex: Magmar counts as Kanto, but Magmortar is from Sinnoh).

Tera Types: Tera type is unrestricted. The Pokémon itself just has to meet the regional requirement.

Team Sheet Error Policy: Any player that has an error on their team sheet takes a game loss. If a player discloses the error before the round begins there will be no penalty.

Delay Policy: If for any reason a player is delaying the tournament, a judge can force you to drop a match or set at their discretion.

Conduct Policy: These tournaments exist to help players practice and grow. If a player is found to be disrupting or harming another person's experience, judges will either give a warning or drop players depending on the severity of the offense.
