Welcome to the Econ Cup, a weekly Pokémon Pocket tournament series brought to you by Xen – creator of the largest/ spiciest Pokémon Pocket YouTube channel with over 100K subscribers. Every week, we host competitive showdowns where only the smartest decks (and boldest trainers) make it out on top.

This is Week 1 of 4 — the Open Format. All cards from the new A4: Wisdom of Sky and Sea set are legal. There are no bans or restrictions... yet. But watch your back: starting Week 2, bans and deck restrictions will shake up the meta based on what dominated here.

🧠 Winners & top cut players will be featured on Xen’s YouTube channel the following day, with commentary and deck breakdowns. Bring your best list. You might just make the highlight reel.

📋 FORMAT & STRUCTURE

Swiss Best-of-1 (BO1) 6 rounds

• Top Cut based on player count (Top 16/34)
• Top Cut is Best-of-3
• Open decklists
• No bans or card restrictions for Week 1

Check-In opening 1 hour before Tournament starts!

🧾 DECK SUBMISSION

Submit your deck through Limitless. Deck changes are NOT allowed after submission. If you suspect your opponent is using an illegal or incorrect list, call a judge immediately.

🧑‍⚖️ RULES & CONDUCT

• Check-in is mandatory. Miss it and you may be dropped.
• Be respectful to opponents and judges — this is a community event. Harassment, stalling, or cheating = DQ.
• Screenshot your victory screen after each match in case of disputes.
• If your opponent is inactive for 5+ minutes after round start, call a judge to resolve.
• All disputes must be handled respectfully via Discord or Limitless judge chat.
• Judges require proof to take action. Please save your logs/screenshots.
