Rules:
Swiss Rounds (Phase 1):
Rounds: 7 rounds of Swiss pairings (Best-of-1, BO1)
Match Time: 20 minutes per round, 5-minute check-in window before each match
Scoring: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss
Advancement: Players with at least 15 match points, or those in the Top 128 (whichever is lower), advance to the Top Cut

Top Cut (Phase 2):
Format: Single-elimination bracket (single-elim)
Matches: Best-of-3 (BO3) per match
Match Time: untimed matches, no check-in required -
Decklist Submission:
All decklists must be submitted via the Limitless Deck Builder before the tournament begins.
You may only use Base Pokémon that evolve directly into a Phase 2 Pokémon.
You must include the matching Phase 2 evolution of that Base Pokémon in your deck.
No Phase 1 Pokémon are allowed in your deck at all.
All other cards (Trainers, Tools, etc.) are allowed as usual. -
Tiebreaker Rules:
If a Match ends in a tie, players immediately start a tiebreaker game.
Players play a sudden death tiebreaker game — whoever wins the tiebreaker game wins the match.
If time runs out or there's any dispute about remaining time or match state, call a judge immediately. -
Intentional Draws:
Prohibited: Intentionally drawing a match is not allowed in any round. -
Prizing:
Prizes will be paid out via PayPal or alternative methods discussed in the Discord. -
Conduct:
Players are expected to uphold good sportsmanship. Harassment, stalling, or any form of cheating will result in disqualification.
Streaming:
Streaming or recording your matches is encouraged during the Swiss rounds and required for all players in the Top Cut.
Stream Sniping: Using an opponent’s live stream or recording for information is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Additional Requirements:
Card Legality: All cards used must be legal in the current TCG Pocket format.
Pokémon that do not evolve into Phase 2 cannot be used.

Judge Support:
If any issues arise during a match, use the “Call a Judge” feature on Limitless to get assistance.
Submit relevant screenshots via the judge-ticket channel on the Magma Discord when reporting an issue.
