📅 Season Structure

Players earn Season Points at each event, and only their best 4 placements count toward the final standings.

At the end of the series, the Top 32 players will be invited to a final championship tournament.

📝 REGISTRATION

• The tournament is publicly listed on Limitless. Click Register and enter the provided access code.
• Decks must be built using the Limitless Deck Builder with exactly 20 cards.
• Submit your deck by pasting the full text export into the deck submission field.
• Deck submission is due by the official tournament start time.
• Check-in opens 1 hour before the start time. Be ready!

🎮 HOW TO PLAY

Matches are played in the Pokémon TCG Pocket app.

⏰ Check-In Rules

• Tournament check-in opens 1 hour before the start time on Limitless.
• You must check in to avoid being dropped before Round 1.
• For each round:
  • Check in within the first 5 minutes.
  • Only check in if you are 100% ready to play.
• If your opponent doesn’t show within 5 minutes of both players checking in:
  • Call a judge.
• If they’re active in chat but forgot to check in:
  • Politely remind them — otherwise, call a judge.
• Do not delay your match after checking in.

⚠️ Check-In Penalties:

• No check-in within 5 minutes = Game Loss
• Repeat offenses = Additional Game Loss
• Delays after check-in = Potential penalties

🏆 Top Cut Rounds

• Single Elimination, Best-of-3 format.
• No round timer.
• No check-in required.
• However:
  • If a player is inactive for 5+ minutes, they lose that game.
  • If your opponent is missing, call a judge after 5 minutes of inactivity.

⚖️ TIES & DISPUTES

• Ties and Intentional Draws (IDs) are NOT allowed.
• If a game ends in a tie, start a new game immediately.
• If time runs out and the score is 0–0 or 1–1, it’s a tie.
• A screenshot must be taken at the end of every game.
• If a disconnect occurs, the win goes to the player who receives the Victory screen.
• If the timer ends and a match finishes shortly after, judges may award the win if screenshot proof is submitted in The Saga Discord.

• Matches are Best-of-3 (BO3)
• Swiss Scoring:
  • Win = 3 pts
  • Loss = 0 pts
  • Tie = 1 pt (if applicable)

🚨 TOURNAMENT RULES

Game Interruptions:

• If a crash or disconnect occurs, the player who receives the Victory screen is awarded the win.
• No rematches unless both players agree before judge involvement.

Match Time Expiry:

• If the BO3 match isn’t finished before time runs out, the result is a Tie.

Deck Legality:

• You must use your submitted deck throughout the event.
• Using a different or illegal deck = Automatic Game Loss for that round.

Behavior & Conduct:

• This is a family-friendly event:
  • Be respectful to all players and staff.
  • Offensive names, language, or unsportsmanlike conduct = Immediate Disqualification.
