Hello, and welcome to the First "Smokey" Limited Minitour!

Limited is the name of a tier in the Orre Colosseum VGC Discord (Link), and format discussion can be found under the "limited" text channel. Battles will be Best of 3 Open Team Sheets and played using standard VGC rules, and top cut battles will be Best of 5. Due to the special format, games will be played on a special Pokémon: Showdown! server called "Dawn" (Link to Dawn Server). Battles will be played using the "[Gen 3] Orre Limited" ruleset, and replays MUST be uploaded by the match winner. Replay links must be posted in the #replays channel of the discord, and can optionally be posted in the limitless room chat.

Complete Ruleset:

• Sets will be played as Best Of 5.
• Item Clause, Species Clause, and Sleep Clause are applied.
• All Pokémon must be level 50 or lower.
  • In generation 3, this also causes any Pokémon who evolve over level 50 or moves only learned over level 50 to be unobtainable.
• All battles must be played on the Dawn Pokémon Server using the "[Gen 3] Orre Limited" ruleset,
• Team Preview is active. Team use "bring 6, pick 4" rules, AKA 4v4. (players not required to bring more than 4 Pokémon if they wish)
  • This is a feature specific to Orre Colosseum, which is a major distinguishing factor from mainline games battling.
• Open Team Sheets will be used, and will be made public on the tournament start date.
  • This means you may change your team sheet as many or as few times as you would like prior to the tournament start.
  • All legendary Pokémon (also Dragonite and Tyranitar due to evolution level) are banned. All other Pokémon are legal.
  • Rounds should be completed within 40 minutes. Matches may go over time, but repeated offenses will result in match loss or full disqualification depending on judge decision.
