Main tournament rules and code of conduct and penalties

1. Respect for staff and decisions:

• Please note that the organization of the tournaments is voluntary and offered for free by ASRCristiano and all its staff.
  In this spirit, players are required to behave properly and respectfully toward all other players and staff.

2. During a Judge call

• Communicate with the judge clearly and precisely in ENGLISH, or in Italian if both players are Italian
• Always answer the judge's questions
• Avoid unnecessary arguments and always wait for the judge’s ruling
• The judge’s ruling is ALWAYS final, definitive, and UNDISPUTABLE

3. Missed Check-in

• It is always the player's responsibility to present their check-in at the table. In case of a missed/forgotten check-in, no action can be taken. Check-in overrides any action or decision by the Judge. Missing check-in is equivalent to losing the match. We understand it’s hard to accept a loss for this reason. In case of a bug preventing check-in, the player must report it to the judge as soon as possible.

PENALTY: Loss due to missed Check-in / Double loss if both players miss Check-in

4. Wrong deck list

• If a player realizes they have an incorrect deck list during setup, the match can be restarted upon sending a screenshot clearly proving the genuine mistake.
  If one player realizes during the match that the opponent’s deck list is wrong, they must call a judge and attach a screenshot proving the issue.

PENALTY: Match restart if error occurs during setup / Immediate loss if the error is found on any turn other than the first

5. Slow play

• If a player suspects the opponent is playing slowly to gain advantage, they must immediately call the Judge and enter ASRCristiano’s Discord server (Link in Details on Limitless) to stream their game via screen share so the judge can assess the situation.
  If it’s not possible to stream and thus show the situation to the judge, the request cannot be accepted. Keep in mind all slow play reports must be made in a timely manner so the judge can verify it.
  Any sanction resulting from the judge’s ruling is at their sole discretion and cannot be disputed.

PENALTY: Possible sanctions at the judge’s discretion depending on the severity

• Warning
• Disqualification from the tournament
• Ban

6. Insults or homophobic, racist, disrespectful comments or any hateful messages

• If a player is caught or reported expressing homophobic, racist, disrespectful, or any other hate-related messages through Limitless Chat, Discord Chat, or any other form of communication, they will be disqualified from the ongoing tournament and, depending on the severity, banned from all future events.
  The judge reserves the right to evaluate any behavior considered disrespectful or unsportsmanlike toward the opponent, the judge, or anyone else.
  The player understands and tacitly agrees that this kind of conduct is not acceptable at our events and may lead to disciplinary actions.

PENALTY: Disqualification from the tournament and permanent ban

7. Game bug, glitch, or app crash

• If at any point during the match a bug, glitch, freeze, disconnection, game crash, server crash, or similar issue occurs, the match will be considered lost for the player unable to continue. If this happens during setup and both players agree, the match can be restarted upon providing proof via screenshot/stream/video.

PENALTY: Loss for the player experiencing bug/glitch / Match restart if it occurs during setup and BOTH players agree

Regole principali del torneo e codice di condotta e penalita'

1. Rispetto per lo staff e decisioni:

• Si ricorda che lʼonere dellʼorganizzazione dei tornei e' volontaria ed offerta gratuitamente da ASRCristiano e tutto il suo staff.
  In questo spirito e' richiesto ai giocatori un comportamento corretto e rispettoso nei confronti di tutti gli altri giocatori e dello staff.

2. In fase di Judge call

• Comunicare con il judge in modo chiaro e preciso in lingua INGLESE o al limite in Italiano qualora entrambi i giocatori fossero Italiani
• Rispondere sempre alle domande del Judge
• Evitare futili discussioni su quanto accaduto e aspettare sempre il giudizio del judge
• Il giudizio del Judge e' SEMPRE univoco, definitivo e INCONTESTABILE

3. Check-in mancante

• E' SEMPRE responsabilita' del giocatore presentare il proprio check-in al tavolo. In caso di mancato/forgotten check-in non e' possibile alcuna azione. Il Check-in prevale su ogni eventuale azione o comportamento del Judge. La mancata presentazione del Check-in equivale a sconfitta del match. Sappiamo che e' difficile accettare la sconfitta per questo motivo. In caso di bug che impedisce il check-in il giocatore dovra' richiedere al judge appena possibile.

PENALITA': Sconfitta per check-in mancante / Doppia sconfitta se entrambi i giocatori non presentano il Check-in

4. Deck list errata

• Se un giocatore si accorge di avere una deck list errata in fase di setup la partita puo' essere riavviata dopo aver inviato uno screenshot che provi l’errore genuino.
  Se un giocatore si accorge in corso di partita che il deck list dell’avversario e' errata deve chiamare il judge e allegare lo screenshot.

PENALITA': Riavvio della partita se l'errore si verifica durante lo setup / Sconfitta immediata se l'errore viene scoperto in qualsiasi turno diverso dal primo

5. Slow play

• Se un giocatore sospetta che l’avversario stia giocando in slow play per ottenere un vantaggio deve chiamare immediatamente il Judge ed entrare nel Discord di ASRCristiano (Link nelle dettagli su Limitless) e streammare la partita con condivisione schermo per permettere al Judge di verificare.
  Se non e' possibile streammare e quindi mostrare la situazione al judge la richiesta non potra' essere accettata. Ricordarsi che tutte le richieste di slow play devono essere fatte tempestivamente per permettere al Judge di verificare.
  La penalita' derivante dalla decisione del Judge e' a sua esclusiva discrezione e non puo' essere contestata.

PENALITA': Possibili sanzioni a discrezione del Judge a seconda della gravita'

• Ammonizione
• Esclusione dal torneo
• Ban

6. Insulti o commenti omofobi, razzisti, irrispettosi o messaggi d’odio

• Se un giocatore venisse sorpreso o segnalato per aver espresso messaggi omofobi, razzisti, irrispettosi o altro genere di messaggi d’odio tramite chat Limitless, Discord, o qualunque altro mezzo di comunicazione verrà squalificato dal torneo in corso e a seconda della gravita' potra' essere bannato da tutti gli eventi futuri.
  Il Judge si riserva la facolta' di valutare qualsiasi comportamento ritenuto irrispettoso o antisportivo nei confronti dell’avversario, del judge o di chiunque altro.
  Il giocatore intende e accetta tacitamente che questo tipo di comportamento non sia ammesso ai nostri eventi e che potra' comportare azioni disciplinari.

PENALITA': Esclusione dal torneo e bann permanete

7. Bug di gioco, glitch o crash dell’app

• Se durante la partita dovessero verificarsi bug, glitch, freeze, disconnessioni, crash di gioco, crash server o problemi simili la partita sara' considerata persa per il giocatore impossibilitato a proseguire. Se si verifica durante la fase di setup e entrambi i giocatori sono d’accordo la partita puo' essere riavviata mostrando prova tramite screenshot/stream/video.

PENALITA': Sconfitta per il giocatore interessato da bug/glitch / Riavvio della partita se si verifica durante lo setup ed ENTRAMBI i giocatori sono d’accordo
