This tournament is a FREE tournament for you to clock in some of that needed practice for upcoming tournaments!

Catered to SEA-friendly timing (GMT +0800) so that you don't have to burn the midnight oil!

Tournament Structure

  • Platform: Pokemon Trading Card Game Live (PTCGL)
  • Open decklists submission
  • Players are encouraged to join Discord for prizes and submitting evidence for disputes.

This event has two Phases - Swiss Rounds BO1 and Top Cut BO3

  • Wins are 3 points; ties are 1 point.
  • Phase 1: Swiss Round BO1 matches
    • 30 mins, inclusive of 3 mins check-in time
  • Phase 2: Top Cut BO3 matches
    • No time limit, no check-in time

Rules

  • Sets and promo cards: Will be considered legal on the day they are available on PTCGL.

  • Swiss Rounds: Best of 1 with a time limit of 30 minutes with a Check In timer of 3 mins. Timers must be turned on when playing. Time extensions can be granted with judges discretion. Players must check in prior to each match; failure to do so will result in an automatic game loss.

  • Ties & Intentional Draws (ID): occur when time runs out and a game is still playing. If a game completes before time, but you are unable to enter the result before the timer ran out. Screenshot the game result and request a judge. Players may request judge for an intentional draw (ID) if both parties agree.

  • Connection/bug/technical issues: If the game disconnects BEFORE the first player's draw on their first turn, players will restart the game and attempt to reconnect. A game loss is dealt to the player experiencing any issue if the game is unusable. Screenshots are highly recommended if such issues arises.

  • Slow playing and other disputes: Players are responsible for reporting any form of intentional slow play or disputes. Please call a judge AS SOON AS POSSIBLE for slow play. It is strongly recommended that you screenshot your evidence in case of any disputes. All evidence must be submitted on the Discord server.

  • Judge calls: Please DO NOT add judges on Discord, we will not reply. Use the judge call button or public Discord.
