🔨 Auction Mechanics

  • Each player receives 1,000 Auction Tokens per phase (total 2,000 Tokens).
  • Bidding is secret and simultaneous.
  • You can bid on any number of cards, but you can only receive a maximum of 23 cards per phase.
  • If you win fewer than 23 cards, you’ll receive random cards to complete the total.
    • Random cards prioritize unclaimed Trainer cards, followed by cards with the lowest total bid.
  • You cannot bid on cards (Trainer) that you already won in the 1st Auction Phase. Any such bid will be invalid.
    • Example: If you won Sabrina in the 1st Auction Phase, bidding Sabrina again in the 2nd Phase will be invalid.
  • If two or more players place the same highest bid on a card, all of them will receive the card.
  • Auction results will be public, so everyone can see what cards each player won.

📦 Card Distribution Rules

  • If you win a final evolution Pokémon, its basic and evolution stages are included automatically.
  • If you win a final evolution fossil Pokémon, the necessary Fossil card is included.
  • You cannot use Fossil Pokémon if you do not win the final evolution.
  • 337 cards are available in total.
    • 184 cards will be distributed in the 1st Auction Phase.
    • Those same 184 cards cannot be bid on again in the 2nd Phase (with the exception of Supporters, Items, and Tools that were not won).
  • Supporters, Items, and Tools reappear in the 2nd Auction Phase only if you haven’t already won them.
  • Players who win more than 23 cards will receive only the 23 cards with the highest bids.

🧩 Deck Building

  • Each player will have 46 cards total (from both auctions).
  • From these, players must build 3 different decks.
    • No duplicate Pokémon between the decks.
    • No duplicate Supporters, Items, or Tools between the decks (Promo Shop cards are exempt).
  • Promo Shop cards are free to use in all 3 decks and not part of the auction.

🧠 Tournament Format

  • The event uses a Double Elimination Bracket.
  • All matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3).
  • Each match uses all 3 decks, one per game.
  • Decks are locked once the tournament starts.

⚖️ Tournament Policies

Respect & Fair Play
Be respectful at all times. Toxic behavior or offensive usernames = removal.

Deck Rules
Using a deck different from your submitted list = automatic loss.

Round 0 Wins
Wins before the coin flip or if the opponent isn’t online are not valid.
If the coin flip has started, the match is valid.

Match Results
Take a screenshot of the victory screen in case of a dispute.

Incomplete Matches
If the match isn't finished before the round ends, it's a tie, unless one player is clearly at fault.

Connection Issues
If you disconnect due to app/internet, it's a loss, unless it happens before the coin flip.

Slow Play
If the time difference between players is over 4 minutes, take a screenshot and report it on Discord. The player can then claim a win.

Password Problems
If the given password doesn't work, both players must agree on a new one.

Late Check-In
If you miss check-in, it's your responsibility. A judge can help only if your opponent agrees to continue.
If a match starts without check-in, it can still continue. Judges may reset it if needed.

Intentional Tie
Allowed if both players agree and request a judge.

Calling a Judge
Judges make fair calls based on rules. If both players solve the issue, no judge is needed.
