🔹 Tournament Structure

📅 Format: rounds of Swiss followed by knockout rounds

🧠 Match Style: Best-of-3 (each round is a full set, not just a single game)

🕹️ Pairings: Swiss system (you’ll face opponents with similar win records)

💥 No eliminations during Swiss—everyone plays all rounds

🔝Top 32 Elimination Bracket

• The top 32 players after Swiss will move into a single-elimination bracket

• All matches remain Best-of-3

• Once you're eliminated, you're out—the last trainer standing takes the prize

📌 Rules & Details

⏫️ Game Version: Pokémon Pocket TCG Please ensure you're on the latest version

🎴 Deck Submission: Decklists are to be submitted through limitless (choose one based on your preference) and use deckbuilder please ask in discord if need any help with this.

⛔️ Card Legality: All cards that are legal in the current Pokémon Pocket format are allowed. Banned cards, if any, will be listed in the announcements.

🟠 Tiebreakers: Standard resistance-based tiebreakers apply in Swiss standings, in the event of a tie, whoever has won 1 of the matches will be declared as winner of the best of 3.

⏳️ Time Limits: Matches must be completed within the round timer. Intentional delays or stalling will result in penalties.

📝 Match Reporting: Players must report match results promptly through the tournament platform. Disputes should be backed by screenshots or replay logs when possible.

🫡 Conduct: Good sportsmanship is mandatory. Harassment, cheating, or toxic behaviour will result in disqualification

🔴 Number of Rounds

The number of Rounds will depend on the number of participants that check-in and submit a decklist.

🟠 9-16 players = 4 Swiss Rounds, and Top 4 Cut

🟡 17-128 players = 5 Swiss Rounds, and Top 32 Cut

🟢 129-512 players = 6 Swiss Rounds, and Top 32 Cut

🛠️ Tournament Platform & Communication

🤼‍♂️ Pairings, round timers, standings, and result reporting will all be handled through the platform

💬 For communication, rulings, and help, please join TCGGrandtrainers Discord or use the tournament chat provided

⏰️ Be on time—late players may receive game losses or be dropped from the event

🛫 Be present at check-in if it's enabled (typically 1 hour before start time)
