This tournament is designed to bring together competitive Pokémon TCG Pocket players in a structured and engaging environment.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the tournament execution, ensuring fairness, transparency, and a seamless experience for all participants.
🛠 Tournament Structure
🕹 Game & Format
- Game: Pokémon TCG Pocket
- Format:
- Swiss Rounds (Best of 1): Ensures all players get multiple matches before elimination.
- Top Cut (Single Elimination - Best of 3): Highest-ranked players advance to knockout rounds.
- Finals (Best of 3): Championship match to determine the Cross-Guild Champion.
- Player Limit: No cap — anyone in the Twitch Unity Guilds can join!

📌 Deck Rules & Banned Cards
- Format: Standard Pokémon TCG Pocket format (latest official rules)
- Banned Cards: None
- Deck Submission:
- All players must submit their deck list before the tournament begins.
- Edits are allowed until the tournament officially starts.
🚀 Sign-Up & Registration
- Registration Process:
- Players must register through the official tournament page on LimitlessTCG
- Discord Requirement:
- All participants must join the tournament Discord for updates, announcements, and match coordination.
🕒 Tournament & Round Check-In
- Pre-Tournament Check-In:
- Players must check in 1 hour before the tournament starts.
- Round Check-In:
- Players must check in for each round within the allocated time.
- Failure to check in may result in a match loss or disqualification.
🎮 Match Procedures & Reporting
📊 Match Flow & Result Reporting
- Reporting:
- Both players must report match results on the Limitless TCG platform.
- In case of disputes, players must provide screenshot or video evidence.
- Time Limits:
- Each round has a set time limit.
- If a match starts before the time limit expires, players get an additional 5 minutes to finish.
- Matches that go beyond this buffer will result in a tie, unless ruled otherwise by the organizers.
⚖️ Fair Play & Conduct
- Cheating & Unsportsmanlike Behavior:
- Any form of cheating, toxic behavior, or use of unauthorized tools = immediate disqualification
- Technical Issues:
- Notify a judge immediately.
- Matches may be restarted if both players agree.
- Judging & Disputes:
- Judges have the final say.
- Players must provide screenshots or video proof.
🌐 Connection & Inactivity Rules
- Connection Issues:
- Disconnect before coin flip = match may be restarted up to 2 times.
- Disconnect after coin flip = match loss (unless proven otherwise).
- Inactivity:
- No move for 5+ minutes = opponent may claim the win.
🏆 Top 8 & Streaming Requirements
🎥 Live Streaming Rules for Top 8
- All Top 8 matches must be streamed in the official tournament Discord.
- Matches will be played one at a time in assigned order (announced via Discord).
- Failure to stream or playing off-stream may result in disqualification.
Streaming Guidelines:
- Stream quality must be clear and stable
- Players will receive instructions on how to stream once they reach Top 16

- Players must wait for the TO to announce when they may begin their match
- Official Streaming Platform:
- Select feature matches may be streamed on Twitch with live commentary

Tiebreakers will be determined by:
- Pokémon TCG Pocket’s in-game ranking system
- Tournament Organizer’s discretion, if needed
🚨 Deck Violations & Penalties
- Incorrect Deck / Banned Cards:
- Swiss Rounds: Immediate round loss
- Top Cut - Prelims: Game loss
- Top Cut - Final 8: One remake allowed; second offense = disqualification
- Suspecting an illegal deck? Notify a judge immediately.
