New to TCGOne or to RS-PK??

TCGOne is a free, automatic, online Pokemon TCG client, similar to PTCGO†, that is primarily geared towards retro Pokemon TCG. To create a decklist, locate the "Quickplay Decks" button at the top of the screen on your dashboard on TCGOne. Make sure the format is set to "EX Block" when creating your deck to find the proper cards. After you've created a deck, click the New Game button on the main page to create a public game lobby that anyone can join. Make sure to enter your opponent's IGN in the description box during match creation when setting up a tournament game.

Is there a good point to start with or a place that I can get information about RS-PK?

Tournament Structure

The tournament begins on Saturday, June 7th at 6:00 pm EST (7:00 am JST). The tournament will be BO1 and each round will be timed by the generous TCGOne timer (25 minutes for each player). NOTE: Players whose in-game timers expire will be considered the loser of the match. Please keep your connection and gameplay in consideration. On TCGOne, if your opponent runs out of time, you will be asked if you would like to add an extension to the timer. You must select the option to end the game and mark yourself as the winner. This prevents any delays to the tournament.

Top cut will begin after a short break following the end of Swiss. The top 8 players (5-2~ with the best resistance or better) will play Double Elimination BO1.

What happens if my opponent is late to the round?

Players have exactly 5 minutes to begin playing. If the round timer on the Dashboard tab of Limitless has exceeded 5 minutes and your opponent hasn't joined your game without proper acknowledgement by the TO or with the consent of both players, the player who is not late must mark themselves the winner of that match.

Are there any bugs that I should be aware of?

Currently, there is one minor bug that occurs in the rare situation where if a player uses an effect to copy their opponent's Lanette's Net Search, (such as Unown C UF or Milotic DF 5) the player who owns the Lanette will search the deck of the player who copied it. If you intend to copy Lanette in this way, please tell your opponent what you want them to grab off of it for you in the chat box before you copy it. Make your deck choice and gameplay decisions with this bug in mind, because it will let your opponent see exactly what you have in your deck.

If any other significant bugs are discovered during tournament play, a tournament admin may allow or direct any affected players to replace those cards with either Basic Energy cards, or in some instances, a similar card. For example, if a particular Magikarp was bugged and could not evolve into Gyarados, that player could be allowed to use a different Magikarp for the remainder of the event.

What happens if there is server maintenance in the middle of a round?

Unfortunately, there is a possibility that an automatic server restart can happen in the middle of a tournament. If a majority of the matches in a round are affected, or if it won't cause any delays to the event, players may be permitted to restart their matches and play as normal. However, if maintenance occurs late in the round and restarting affected matches would cause delays, both players may be directed to play a Sudden Death match instead. If you are able to take a screenshot of the game state when maintenance hits, the TO may be able work it out with the players to find out if one player had a clear advantage and award that player the win. Ultimately, this is a case by case issue and solutions will come at my discretion

What happens if there is a Game Engine Error or a major bug is discovered?

If a player encounters a new bug or encounters a Game Engine Error, do not restart your match! Please contact me if you run into either, and I will work with the players involved to help determine what the best course of action is. Most games can be continued without issue in the event of bugs or an engine error. If the game state is completely broken, both players may be directed to play a Sudden Death match instead. However, if restarting the game is unlikely to cause any delays to the event, I may allow the match to be replayed. If a game crash was caused by one player disconnecting (or by abusing any sort of exploit), that player will forfeit the match.

Are there any restrictions to decklists?

Decklists will be closed for the duration of the tournament, but will be made public after the event ends. Any foul play detected or reported by a player and proven will result in forfeiting all prizing along with a permanent ban from any future tournaments. Your list must be legal to participate. Please refer to any potential bugged cards before submitting your list, and contact me if you have any questions or trouble submitting your list. If you copy a list from Limitless or HRT and import it into TCGOne and find that it has less than 60 cards, the culprits are usually POP series cards or the Unown forms from Unseen Forces. You will have to add these cards back into your deck manually.

Having trouble with anything or have any questions? Feel free to contact me on Discord @utahloid or on Twitter @sludgeshi. It is also recommended to join the TCGOne Discord if you have any general questions
