TCG_MST AND FRIENDS ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE A NEW WEEKLY THROWBACK TOURNAMENT!
EACH WEEK WE WILL CYCLE THROUGH DIFFERENT PAST FORMATS SO THAT YOU CAN EXPERIENCE OR RE-EXPERIENCE POKÉMON POCKET PVP AS IT WAS THEN
Decklist Submission: Decklists must be submitted through Limitless! You can build your deck list with Limitless' Deck Builder. Only the deck list that you submit can be used in the tournament, and you will only use one deck list for all of your games. If you notice that your opponent is using the wrong deck list, please call a judge! Using cards that are not in your deck list in round 1 will lead to an automatic loss of the round. Using cards that are not included in your deck list after round 1 may lead to disqualification as well as a ban from future tournaments.
Check-in for the tournament: Check-in starts an hour before the tournament begins. Players who do not check-in will be dropped from the tournament.
Check-in before each round: Check in for each round is the first 5 minutes. Only check in when you are ready to play. If your opponent does not connect within the five minutes after they check in, make sure to call a judge. That being said, if you are communicating with your opponent and you notice that they have forgotten to check in, make sure to remind them. If both players are communicating in chat but one forgets to check in before time, make sure to call a judge. Delaying games once checked in can lead to penalties.
Swiss Rounds are BO3 matches: They are 30 minutes long with 5 minutes to check-in each round.
Top Cut is BO3 as well!
Ties: Pokémon Pocket has several ways to get ties, however, if a tie occurs simply replay the tied game with your opponent.
Intentional Ties aren't allowed. Pressuring your opponent into accepting an intentional tie is forbidden.
Connection issues may occur. If they happen before the game begins(the game never starts) then users should try again. However, if connection issues occur mid-game, the player with the Victory screen will be given the win.
Remember to screenshot your victory screen in the case of a match result dispute. In the event of a match result dispute, this time stamped screenshot will be the determining factor. You can post your screenshots in the appropriate Discord channel.
Streaming: Players are allowed to stream their games. Players streaming their matches may want to run a delay on their stream to stop viewers from having any advantage. Using an advantage from a stream, be it seeing someone's hand or getting outside advice may lead to penalties. Proven stream sniping will lead to disqualification as well as a ban from future tournaments.
Breaking rules, using game exploits, harassment or unsportsmanlike conduct can result in disqualification as well as a ban from future tournaments.
Tournament Discord: Please join the tournament Discord to stay up to date with any announcements including schedule changes.
Contacting Judges: Please only use limitless to talk to judges.
Be kind and polite to all players as well as your judges. Being rude or not listening to judges may result in penalties stated above.
Use the matchmaking code provided by Limitless. If the game doesn't allow it, generate a code and share it with your opponent.
Your in-game name MUST match what is on your Limitless account! If it does not, TELL YOUR OPPONENT WHAT NAME YOU ARE USING BEFORE THE GAME BEGINS.
Do not delay your games after checking in. If you opponent is not showing up after they have checked in, call a judge. For every five minutes they are late without the judge's okay will be a game loss.
And last but not least : Good luck and have fun!
