ORGANIZED BY 🦦 GLOBAL CAPY 🦦 Discord

Welcome to our Custom Series Tournament! Participation requires joining our Discord server. Please read the details carefully to ensure you're prepared for the unique structure and rules of this event.

What is Pulang Kampung?
In Indonesia, pulang kampung is a tradition where people return to their hometowns, especially during Lebaran, to reunite with family. This year, all the trainers have decided to pulang kampung, leaving the daycare empty… except for one place that remains open—Grandma Daycare!

Grandma Daycare Stays Open!
Don't worry! Even though the trainers are away, Grandma Daycare is still here to take care of your Pokémon. Plus, Grandma also sells various Pokémon items to help you on your journey!

Missions

Grandma Daycare is here to assist trainers who are pulang kampung by helping their Pokémon evolve. However, since it's newly opened, Grandma is confused—which Pokémon is the easiest to evolve?

As a good trainer, help Grandma choose the fastest and easiest Pokémon to evolve! With teamwork and the right strategy, we can make Grandma Daycare the best place for Pokémon evolution during this pulang kampung season! :muscle::sparkles:

🏆 Tournament Structure

Swiss Rounds: Earn as many wins as possible to secure a spot in the top cut.

  • Win: 3 point
  • Draw: 1 point
  • Loss: 0 point

⚠️ Next Round – The next round starts when all matches are finished, not based on the timer. Announcements will be made on Discord if there are delays. Join our Discord server to get notified.

Top Cut: Top 8 players advance to a single-elimination bracket.

The number of Swiss Rounds will be determined based on the total number of participants. If participants are:

  • 0-16 Players → 5 Swiss Rounds (BO1) with Top 4 Cut (BO3)
  • 17-32 Players → 5 Swiss Rounds (BO1) with Top 8 Cut (BO3)
  • 33-64 Players → 6 Swiss Rounds (BO1) with Top 8 Cut (BO3)
  • 65-128 Players → 6 Swiss Rounds (BO1) with Top 16 Cut (BO3)

Note: Tiebreaker in Top Cut – If a BO3 or BO5 match ends in a tie in the final game, the winner is determined as follows:

  1. The player with the higher points wins.
  2. If both players have the same points, the winner is determined by their Swiss Round match (if they played against each other). The player who won that Swiss Round match advances.
  3. If they did not play each other in Swiss Rounds, the player with the higher overall Swiss Round score advances.
  4. If both players have the same Swiss Round score, they must play a fourth game to determine the winner.

⚖️ Tournament Policies

Respect & Fair Play – Players must be respectful at all times. Toxic behavior or offensive usernames will result in removal.

Deck Violations – Using a deck that does not match your submitted list results in an automatic loss.

Victory in Round 0 – Wins before the coin flip or if the opponent is not logged in are INVALID. If the coin flip has started, the match is VALID. Always take a screenshot of the Battle Log.

Proof of Match Results – Always take a screenshot of the victory screen in case of disputes.

Incomplete Matches – If a match is not completed before the round ends, it will be marked as a TIE, unless fault is clearly determined.

Connectivity Issues – If the game is interrupted due to app or internet issues, it counts as a LOSS, unless it happens before the coin flip.

Slow Play is Not Tolerated – If the time limit between players exceeds 4 minutes, please take a screenshot and report it in Discord.

Password Issues – If the generated password cannot be used, both players must create a new password together.

Late Check-In – If you fail to check in due to player error or a website issue, it’s your responsibility. Judges can only assist if your opponent agrees to continue. If a game has started but one player forgot to check in, the match can still proceed. A judge may reset the match if needed.

Intentional Tie – Allowed, but both players must agree and request a judge.

Requesting a Judge – Judges make fair decisions based on rules and facts. If players resolve an issue themselves, a judge is not needed.
