Weekly Tournament Announcement

We’re excited to announce this weekly tournament, brought to you by Ba Sing Se and our local card store, Battlezone Gaming Club.

Our main goal with this tournament is to offer a space for you to test your deck, since the ladder on Pokémon TCG Live is unreliable for a proper experience. We aim to provide a fun, competitive environment for all participants.

Thank you for following us on our social media platforms! We appreciate your support

Tournament Guidelines

  • The event will take place on Pokémon TCG Live, following the platform’s standard format.
  • The Pokémon TCG Live timer should always be on.
  • All participants are required to submit a decklist, which will be openly shared.
    • Anyone caught deliberately using an altered or different decklist will be removed from the tournament.
    • If a player unintentionally begins a match with the wrong decklist, they must notify their opponent in chat before taking a turn, and the match should restart.
  • Pokémon TCG Live has its share of glitches, and all players accept this risk equally.
    • If a disconnection or issue occurs after a match begins, the affected player must forfeit that match.
  • Each round lasts 35 minutes, including a 5-minute check-in period.
    • Players who aren’t ready within this window will be marked as conceding.
    • Rounds may kick off early if the prior one wraps up ahead of schedule—keep an eye on Discord for updates.
    • Check-in deadlines will be strictly upheld.
  • If a match doesn’t finish in time, it’ll be scored as a tie, with both players earning 1 point.
    • It’s highly recommended that you take a screenshot of your victory screen to verify your results and avoid discrepancies.

Slow play complaints come up often. If you suspect it, the match must be streamed to a specific Discord table, and an admin must be alerted to review it. This needs to happen with at least 10 minutes left in the round, or the concern won’t be addressed.

Wins earn 3 match points, while ties earn 1. Players agreeing to a draw must inform an admin before the round concludes.

Our staff can speak English and Spanish, so please be mindful and respectful in your communications.
