This is the $40 Dont Forget to Update Your Sheet Tournament hosted by the Head Judge of the Kaii Family Tournament Discord, Dani!

DONT FORGET TO UPDATE YOUR GAME (HENCE THE NAME OF THE TOURNAMENT)

Decklist Submission:

Decklists must be submitted through Limitless! Cyrus, Exeggcutor EX, and Magnezone are

BANNED!!!

Check-in:

Check-in starts an hour before the tournament begins. Players who do not check-in will be dropped from the tournament. Swiss Rounds are BO3 matches: They are 40 minutes long with 5 minutes to check-in each round.

There will be NO timer extensions. If the timer ends and the matches have not finished, the match will be counted as a tie. If your opponent asks you to wait and you agree, you acknowledge risk of the match ending in a tie.

If your opponent checks in and fails to respond after 5 minutes then it is an automatic game loss(call a judge). If there is no response after 10 minutes, it is an automatic round loss (call a judge)

If you believe your opponent to be Slow Playing (taking the whole turn timer each turn to run out the clock) then contact a judge through Limitless and post a screenshot in the judges channel in discord. Make sure the screenshot shows both clocks. If you are found to be in violation of the Slow Playing clause in the rules, then you will be found to forfeit the whole round regardless of round score. (i.e. if you won game 1 and are slow playing game 2 to run out the clock, you will be given two losses and lose the match)

Top Cut is a BO3 as well!

Ties:

Pokémon Pocket has several ways to get ties, and you may have to call a judge to submit them(this is worth one point). However, games will also be counted as a tie if the round timer(40 minutes) concludes. If the BO3 finishes before time is called, but user cannot submit in time, you may call a judge; however, you should have your screenshots ready!

Connection issues may occur. If they happen before the game begins(the game never starts) then users should try again. However, if connection issues occur mid-game(after both players hit start game after placing down starting active pokemon), the player with the Victory screen will be given the win.
Remember to screenshot your victory screen in the case of a match result dispute. In the event of a match result dispute, this time stamped screenshot will be the determining factor.

Streaming:

Players are allowed to stream their games. Players streaming their matches may want to run a delay on their stream to stop viewers from having any advantage. Using an advantage from a stream, be it seeing someone's hand or getting outside advice may lead to penalties. Proven stream sniping will lead to DQ. Breaking rules, using game exploits, harassment, etc. will result in penalties.
