RAINBOW BADGE CUP: FOURTH TOURNAMENT
EXACTLY 6 POKÉMON CARDS ALLOWED IN THE DECK!!! SEE THE RULES FOR DETAILS!
Welcome Trainers to the first step of being declared the champion of the Rainbow Badge Cup!
The grand prize? Glory and status! And a cool Hall of Fame card in the Discord Hall of Fame channel!
*The rules have been adjusted for balance reasons, please check if the deck contains exactly 6 pokémon cards
RULES:
The deck for the tournament must contain exactly 6 pokémon cards.
* You can:
** Run 6 basic pokémon cards, but no evolutions. Total 6 pokémon cards.
** Run 3 basic pokémon cards and 3 stage 1 pokémon cards. Total 6 pokémon cards.
** Run 2 basic pokémon cards, 2 stage 1 and 2 stage 2 pokémon cards. Total 6 pokémon cards.
* You can't:
** Have more than 6 pokémon cards, the sum of basic, stage 1 and stage 2 cards must be exactly 6!
EVENT FLOW:
* Swiss Rounds, will be 5 matches, BO1 (Best of 1).
** For those who aren't familiar with the format: will be matches against other player, in the type of BO1 (Best of one). Each victory awards 3 points, tie will award 1 point to each player, and lose will award 0 points.
* The next part will be single elimination brackets, BO3 (Best of 3). The top 8 players from the previous round will advance to this phase
* There's no Check-in for this phase, is advised to pay attention to the tournament screen. The Next match will start as soon the bracket is complete.
** If you pass to the top 8 cut and don't show up, your opponent (as long if they have showed up) will get the points for that match if the other matches of that stage is complete. This decision is to have a steady flow of the event.
ADDITIONAL RULES
* Forcing matches to end in ties by stalling to make the tournament clock to run out is forbidden.
* In case a result isn't submitted by the time of the match clock ends, but the match is over, you can call a judge to submit the result, but have to have the screenshot of the result screen to prove the result
* If both players decide on the result of match being tie, call a judge. Both players have to explicit state they agree on a tie, otherwise the result will not be concede for that match.
* In case of connection issue:
** If it happens before the match start, both players have to retry the match.
** If it happens during the match, the player with the victory screen wins the match.
** To submit the screenshot be sure to be on Discord, submit on the judge request channel or send it privately.
* Streaming:
** Players can stream their matches, is recommended to add a delay time to avoid your opponent getting unfair advantage.
** There's a channel on the Discord server to post the links for the Streams.
Remember to be respectful to your opponent and judges, otherwise applicable actions will be enforced.
