Welcome to our Capy Tournament! Participation can join our Discord server. Please read the details carefully to ensure you're prepared for the unique structure and rules of this event.

Note: This is our test tournament using the Conquest Format. We appreciate your patience and understanding. If any issues arise, we sincerely apologize and will work to improve for future events.

Deck Rules

There are no rules. But only the deck list that you submit can be used in the tournament, and you will only use on deck list for all of your games. If you notice that your opponent is using the wrong deck list, please call a judge!


📝 Tournament Details

Participation Requirements

  1. Discord:
    You can join our Discord server.

  2. Registration Information:

    • Provide your Discord username
    • Answer a fundamental question about the tournament's structure correctly during registration.
  3. Tournament Check-In:
    A yellow "check in" button will appear on the dashboard 1 hour before the start of the event. Check-in is mandatory.


🏆 Tournament Structure

  • Swiss Rounds: Earn as many wins as possible to secure a spot in the top cut.
    • Win: 3 point
    • Draw: 1 point
    • Loss: 0 point
  • Top Cut: Top 8 players advance to a single-elimination rounds with CONQUEST FORMAT.

The number of Swiss Rounds will be determined based on the total number of participants.

If participants are:

1️⃣ 0-16 Players: 5 Swiss Rounds (BO1) with Top 4 Cut (BO3)

2️⃣ 17-32 Players: 5 Swiss Rounds (BO1) with Top 8 Cut (BO3)

3️⃣ 33-64 Players: 6 Swiss Rounds (BO1) with Top 8 Cut (BO3)


🔥 CONQUEST FORMAT (Top Cut Only)

The Conquest Format will be used exclusively for Top Cut players.

Rules:

  1. Deck Submission:

    • Players must submit three different decks within 15 minutes after reaching the Top Cut.
    • Decks must be submitted in the designated Discord channel.
    • Deck restriction: All three decks can't share any same Pokémon, Trainer, or Tool except for Professor Oak and Pokéball.
  2. Deck Banning Process:

    • Before playing a match on Limitless, both players will ban one of their opponent’s decks in the designated Discord channel.
    • Each player will then compete using their remaining two decks.
  3. Match Rules (BO3):

    • A player must win with both of their remaining decks to win the match.
    • Example:
      • Player A has decks A1, A2, A3.
      • Player B has decks B1, B2, B3.
      • Player A bans B1 and Player B bans A2.
      • In Game 1, Player A wins with A3.
      • Player A must now use A1 for the next game.
      • Player B, having used B2 in Round 1, can use either B2 or B3 in the next game.
  4. Failure to Join Discord:

    • Players who do not join the Discord server before Top Cut matches begin will be considered to have forfeited their matches.

⚖️ Tournament Policies

  1. Proof of Match Results:

    • Take a screenshot of the victory screen for each game in case of disputes.
  2. Incomplete Matches:

    • Matches not completed by the end of the round are scored as a double loss unless fault can be determined.
  3. Connectivity Issues:

    • Games interrupted by app or internet issues count as a loss unless they fail to start before the coin flip.
  4. Deck Violations:

    • Using a deck that different with submitted deck, results in an automatic loss for that game.
  5. Family-Friendly Environment:

    • Players must conduct themselves respectfully. Inappropriate behavior or usernames will result in removal from the event.
  6. Need Assistance?:

    • Use the "Request a Judge" button on Limitless or contact on Discord.
