INFORMATION !

  • Rules Set: This is a Singleton tournament. That means you may not have more than one copy of each card name in your deck.
  • Tournament Discord: Please join the tournament discord to stay up to date with any announcements including schedule changes. If asked to stream the top 4/8/16 rounds, you'll need to be able to do so.
  • Decklist Submission: Decklists must be submitted through Limitless! Only the deck list that you submit can be used in the tournament, and you will only use one deck list for all of your games. If you notice that your opponent is using the wrong deck list, please call a judge!
  • Check-in for the tournament: Check-in starts an hour before the tournament begins. Players who do not check-in will be dropped from the tournament, but may do late registration.
  • Check-in before each round: Check in for each round is the first five minutes. Only check in when you are ready to play. If your opponent does not connect within the five minutes after they check in, make sure to call a judge. That being said, if you are communicating with your opponent and you notice that they have forgotten to check in, make sure to remind them. If both players are communicating in chat but one forgets to check in before time, make sure to call a judge. Delaying games once checked in can lead to penalties.
  • Swiss Rounds are BO3 matches: They are 35 minutes long with 5 minutes to check-in each round.
  • Top Cut is BO3 as well! If you make Top Cut it is required that ALL players stream their matches. If you are not streaming on discord, you must send the link to your stream to DBDrifter.
  • Ties: PokĆ©mon Pocket has several ways to get ties, and you may have to call a judge to submit them(this is worth one point). However, games will also be counted as a tie if the round timer(45 minutes) concludes. If the BO3 finishes before time is called, but user cannot submit in time, you may call a judge; however, you should have your screenshots ready!
  • Intentional Draws(IDs) are allowed at any time. All you need to do is request a judge. They will confirm BOTH parties have agreed to it. However, coercing your opponent in ANY way to accept an ID is NOT allowed.
  • Connection issues may occur. If they happen before the game begins(the game never starts) then users should try again. However, if connection issues occur mid-game, the player with the Victory screen will be given the win.
  • Remember to screenshot your victory screen in the case of a match result dispute. In the event of a match result dispute, this time stamped screenshot will be the determining factor.
  • Streaming: Players are allowed to stream their games. Players streaming their matches may want to run a delay on their stream to stop viewers from having any advantage. Using an advantage from a stream, be it seeing someone's hand or getting outside advice may lead to penalties. Proven stream sniping will lead to DQ.
  • Breaking rules, using game exploits, harassment, etc. will result in penalties.
  • Contacting Judges: Please only use limitless or public discord channels to talk to judges.
  • Be kind and polite to all players as well as your judges. Being rude or not listening to judges may result in penalties.
  • Use a unique room code: Make sure your room code is unique!
  • Your in-game name MUST match what is on your account! If it does not, TELL YOUR OPPONENT WHAT NAME YOU ARE USING BEFORE GAME BEGINS.
  • If you get banned in DBDrifter's stream you will be DQ'd from the tournament. Sportsman-like behavior is required in ALL areas of the tournament. This includes the official broadcast. If you are banned from the official broadcast then this will extend to the tournament as well and you will be DQ'd.
