Welcome to Pokémon Downunder

We are testing to see if people want tournaments on Saturday night AEST. If you would like more tournaments on at this time, it's a good idea to play!

TOURNAMENT INFO

🔵 Each swiss round, players must check-in within the check-in time limit or lose the match. If you speak in chat but forget to check in, you can call a judge who will allow the game to continue, and remind you not to forget next time.

🔵 A maximum of 2 minutes is allowed to resolve overtime. If unresolved, the match is declared a tie.

🔵 Player count may be increased if more players register. Rounds / top cut number will be altered based on number of players.

🔵 Top Cut starts immediately after the bracket is finalised. This means you MUST watch the games feeding into yours so you do not miss your match. A 5-10 minute delay in showing up to your top cut match results in a loss. Judges may attempt to contact you on Discord if available.

RULES

⚫️ Failure to adhere to any of the rules may result in penalties, including game loss, disqualification or a ban from future tournaments.

⚫️ Screenshots should be submitted via Discord, before the round ends.

🔴 DON'T use exploits, bugs, or intentional stall.

🔴 DON'T harass, abuse, insult, and/or disrespect opponents, staff, or the community.

🟢 DO use your submitted deck and energy type for the entire tournament with 0 changes. Disputes over opponent's decks requires screenshots.

🟢 DO take a timestamped screenshot of the victory screen that clearly show the opponent’s username. Submit this only if the opponent lies about the outcome of the match.

🟢 DO use the generated password that Limitless gives you.

🟢 DO tell your opponent before match start if your in-game name does not match what Limitless displays.

Connection Issues

🟡 If the game does not start due to connection issues, players must retry. Ensure both players are on the same version.

🟡 If the game results in a "turn 0 win" without you connecting to the match, then try again. This is a connection issue.

🟡 If connection issues occur mid-game, the player with the victory screen wins. This may require submitting evidence via discord.

Prizes

🟣 A sense of pride and accomplishment.

🟣 Respect and admiration of your peers.

🟣 Roles on Discord for semi-finalists with an exclusive chat channel for past and future semi-finalists. Role on Discord for the Champion.
