🌲Welcome to C.P.U.'s Standard Tournament #1🌲
Control Players Unite is a Pokémon TCG YouTube channel and Discord dedicated to family-friendly entertainment and welcoming all players of good will, not just control players!
Prismatic Evolutions is legal!
Tournament Structure
- Standard format
- Closed deck
- BO1
- 30-minute Swiss rounds (5 rounds)
- No top cut
Check-in
Check-in is mandatory before the tournament and before each round. You have 5 minutes to check-in and begin your round.
PTCGL Bugs
We understand PTCGL has plenty of bugs. If your game bugs mid-match, it is unfortunately a consequence of playing on the client. We cannot award wins or losses for such things (e.g., you cannot select Boss's Orders for game off of a Lumineon V).
A disconnection is an automatic loss, except if the game disconnects on the loading screen or during initial set up. Please call a judge and have both players confirm and try challenging again. This only applies during check-in. The game won't be official until the first turn starts.
Sportsmanship
Basic respect is expected of all players at all times. If a player is found to lie or else deliberately mislead judges, it may result in a permanent banning from all future tournaments.
If a player recognizes the wrong list was chosen during in-game set-up, please call a judge to make them aware of the situation and resend the game request with the correct list. Any coin flip decisions stay the same. Do not restart the game until you confirm with a judge.
Also, if a player has the win just take the win--no need to perform all sorts of useless actions, though such things are not necessarily ban-worthy.
Slow Play
If slow play is suspected, please call a judge immediately. Any kind of slow play or taking advantage of the clock will result in a game loss. Slow play is incredibly hard to judge online, so please be ready with screenshots, and recordings of your request to send on Discord if you suspect your opponent is slow playing maliciously. You must request a slow play judge call before your game ends.
Screenshot
It is helpful to take a screenshot of your victory post-match in case there is a dispute about your win.
