Step-Up Tournaments Rules

Decklist Submission

• Submit your decklist through Limitless. Only the submitted deck can be used. Contact a judge if your opponent uses a different deck.

Tournament Check-in

• Check-in starts 1 hour before the tournament.

Round Check-in

• Players have 5 minutes to check in at the start of each round. Call a judge if your opponent doesn't connect in time.

Swiss Rounds

• Best-of-3 (BO3) matches, lasting 40 minutes, with 5 minutes for check-in.

Top Cut Matches

• Streaming is not mandatory but highly appreciated for both the Swiss rounds and the Top Cut. It helps create content and supports the community.

Ties

• Matches may result in ties (1 point each). If the round timer ends before a BO3, it's a tie. If there are issues submitting results, call a judge and provide screenshots.

Connection Issues

• If connection issues occur before the game begins (the game does not start), players should attempt to reconnect. If the connection issue occurs mid-game, the player with the Victory Screen will be awarded the win. Always take a timestamped screenshot of your victory screen to resolve potential disputes.

Note: Turn 0 is a not victory.(if he didn't flip the coin)

Streaming

• Players may stream but must enable a delay to avoid unfair advantage. Stream sniping is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Conduct and Rule Violations

• Respect players and judges. No Slowplay. Breaking rules or harassment will lead to penalties or disqualification.

Day 2 Schedule

• We prefer Day 2 for longer tournaments. It will be communicated on Discord if the tournament will have a Day 2.

Contacting Judges

• Contact judges via Limitless or public Discord channels, not private messages.

Number of Rounds and Top Cut

The number of rounds will depend on the number of participants that check in and submit a decklist. Below are the details:

• 4-8 players: 3 Swiss Rounds, no Top Cut
• 9-16 players: 4 Swiss Rounds, Top 4 Cut
• 17-32 players: 6 Swiss Rounds, Top 8 Cut
• 33-64 players: 7 Swiss Rounds, Top 8 Cut
• 65-128 players: 6 Swiss Rounds, Top 16 Cut
• 129-256 players: 7 Swiss Rounds, Top 16 Cut
• 257-512 players: 8 Swiss Rounds, Top 16 Cut
• 513-1024 players: 9 Swiss Rounds, Top 32 Cut
• 1025-2048 players: 10 Swiss Rounds, Top 32 Cut
