Tournament Structure

Cards

  • All cards allowed. Alternate art cards allowed.
  • Players must use a single deck for the entire tournament.

Swiss Rounds

  • Each round, players must check-in within 5 minutes or lose the match.
  • A maximum of 2 minutes is allowed to resolve overtime. If unresolved, the match is declared a draw.
  • Player count may be increased if more players register. Rounds / top cut number will be altered based on number of players. This will be announced before Round 1 and will not change once the tournament has begun.

Top Cut

  • Starts immediately after the bracket is finalised. This means you MUST watch the games feeding into yours so you do not miss your match.
  • A 5-10 minute delay in showing up to your match results in a loss. Judges may attempt to contact you on Discord if available.

Prizes

  • A sense of pride and accomplishment.
  • Respect and admiration of your peers.
  • Roles on Discord for semi-finalists with an exclusive chat channel for past and future semi-finalists.
  • Role on Discord for the Champion.

Conduct and Fair Play

  • Failure to adhere to any of the rules may result in penalties, including game loss, disqualification or a ban from future tournaments.

Connection

  • If the game does not start due to connection issues, players must retry.
  • If the game results in a "turn 0 win", then try again. This is simply connection issues.
  • If issues occur mid-game, the player with the victory screen wins.
  • USE A UNIQUE PASSWORD. Preferably use a generated password, as using something common like "Poke1" will cause you match against randoms and really annoy the judges.

Prohibited Actions

  • Exploits and bugs, intentional stalling, harassment, abuse, insults, and/or disrespect toward opponents, staff, or the community.

Disputes and Proof

  • Players must take a timestamped screenshot of the victory screen that clearly show the opponent’s username.
  • This is only needed if the match result is disputed (players often lie).
  • Issues with opponent deck also requires screenshots.
  • Submit evidence via Discord, preferably before calling a judge.
