Tournament Registration begins on December 28, 2024 (Saturday) and ends on December 30, 2025 (Monday) at 3:30 PM (UTC+8).

Players may register by filling out the Aeroblast from the Past Registration Form: REGISTER HERE Players must pay the ₱100.00 Registration Fee via GCash. Send the amount to the following mobile number: 09178693594 (Mark Anthony Nasuli). The registration fees are non-refundable.

Communications

Tournament communications will be done via Limitless only

Pokemon Team Construction:

Aeroblast from the Past will follow Regulation Set G Double Battles rules. Players are allowed to use downloaded Rental Teams.

Tournament Structure:

Phase I of the Tournament will be Best-of-3 Swiss Rounds. The number of Swiss Rounds will depend on the total number of players.

4-8 players: 3 Swiss Rounds
9-16 players: 4 Swiss Rounds
17-32 players: 5 Swiss Rounds
33-64 players: 6 Swiss Rounds
65-128 players: 7 Swiss Rounds

The Top Players will proceed to Phase 2. Phase 2 of the Tournament will be a Best-of-3 Single-Elimination Bracket.

4-8 players: NO TOP CUT
9-16 players: Top 4
17-32 players: Top 8
33-64 players: Top 8
65-128 players: Top 16

Pokemon & Item rules:

  1. Each Pokemon may hold an item, though no two Pokemon may hold the same item.

  2. Players may use Pokemon that were obtained in Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet; were imported into Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet via Pokemon HOME (when available); or were received at an official event or distribution.

  3. A player’s team cannot contain two Pokemon with the same National Pokedex number.

  4. Pokemon may make use of any move or Ability available to that Pokemon through normal gameplay.

  5. Pokemon above and below Lv. 50 are permitted but will be auto-leveled to Lv. 50 during battle. The tournament will have an Open Team Sheet format.

How to Submit a Team Sheet in Limitless VGC:

  1. Create your team in Pokémon Showdown, ensuring it matches your in-game team (levels, stats, moves, etc.).

  2. Click "Upload Paste" in Pokémon Showdown.

  3. Copy the team details: Pokémon name, item, ability, Tera Type, and moves.

  4. Go to your Dashboard on Limitless and paste the team details into the Limitless team submission form.

  5. Double-check for errors and submit.

  6. Confirm the submission by checking for a checkmark next to your name in the registration list.

The information in the submitted Team Sheets will be considered as fixed for the entire tournament once the tournament starts.

Players caught using a Battle Team/Pokemon/Items/Abilities/Stats/etc that differ from their submitted Battle Team in the first round of the tournament will receive a Game Loss and be asked to change their team to reflect their actual team.

Players caught with a team sheet discrepancy beyond Round 1 of the tournament will be disqualified.

Prizes

Total cash prize will be pooled from registration fees

  • 1st Place (Champion) - 50% of Total Cash Prize Pool
  • 2nd Place (Finalist) - 30% of Total Cash Prize Pool
  • 3rd & 4th Place (Semi-Finalists) - 10% of Total Cash Prize Pool each

If there will be more than 30 players, the champion can opt for Gold & Silver Legends: Lugia Plush instead of the cash prize instead
