Paldea Pro League Rules
Decklist Submission
Decklists must be submitted through Limitless! Only the decklist you submit can be used during the tournament, and it will be your official deck for all games. If you notice your opponent using a different decklist, please contact a judge immediately.
Tournament Check-in
Check-in begins one hour before the tournament start time. Players who fail to check in will be dropped from the tournament but may register late if slots are available.
Round Check-in
For each round, players have 5 minutes to check in at the start. Only check in when you are ready to play. If your opponent does not connect within 5 minutes of the start of the round, call a judge. If you are in communication with your opponent and notice they forgot to check in, please remind them. If one player forgets to check in despite communicating, notify a judge.
Swiss Rounds
Swiss rounds are Best-of-3 (BO3) matches lasting 35 minutes, with 5 minutes allocated for check-in at the start of each round.
Top Cut Matches
Top Cut will feature the Top 16 players, and matches will also be BO3. If you make it to Top Cut, one player from each match is required to stream their game. If you are not streaming via Discord, please send the link to your stream to @samu2972.
Ties
- Matches can result in ties, worth one point each.
- If a round timer (35 minutes) concludes before a BO3 finishes, the match will automatically be a tie.
- If the BO3 finishes on time but you cannot submit results quickly, call a judge, but have screenshots of your game results ready for verification.
Connection Issues
- If connection issues occur before the game begins (the game does not start), players should attempt to reconnect.
- If the connection issue occurs mid-game, the player with the Victory Screen will be awarded the win.
- Always take a timestamped screenshot of your victory screen to resolve potential disputes.
Streaming
Players are allowed to stream their matches. To prevent any unfair advantage, players streaming should consider enabling a delay.
- Using stream information, such as seeing an opponent’s hand or receiving external advice, is strictly prohibited and may result in penalties or disqualification.
- Proven stream sniping will lead to immediate disqualification.
Conduct and Rule Violations
Breaking rules, exploiting game bugs, or engaging in harassment or inappropriate behavior will result in penalties or disqualification.
- Be respectful and polite to players and judges alike.
- Failing to comply with judge instructions may lead to sanctions.
Tournament Discord
Join the Pocket Champion's Cup Discord to stay updated with announcements and schedule changes.
- If requested to stream your match during the Top 16 rounds, you must have Discord available for streaming.
Day 2 Schedule
If the tournament includes a Day 2, it will begin at 07:00 PM CET on Tuesday.
Contacting Judges
Judges are available through Limitless or public Discord channels. Avoid private messages for tournament-related queries.
