INFORMATION!

TCG Pocket Ranked Server is excited to announce its FIRST OPEN Pokémon Pocket tournament!

TL;DR: Join Discord, All cards, Bo3, Swiss + Top8 Playoffs, Prize = 1$USD, Fast 64 participants.

This tournament is open for all players, but the next ones will be only for the top 32 players of the Ranked Ladder on Discord.

Decklist Submission:

Decklists must be submitted before the tournament begins through Limitless. Only 1 deck is allowed. If you notice your opponent using the wrong deck list call a judge.

Check-in for the tournament:

Check-in starts an hour before the tournament begins. Players who do not check in will be dropped, no late check-ins.

Check-in before each round:

Check-in for each round is 3 minutes. It's supposed to be a blitz/fast tournament, so if you need to use the bathroom or drink water do it as soon as your BO3 finishes. Check-in, send the code, and get to playing!

Swiss Rounds and Top Cut are BO3 matches:

They are 33 minutes long with 3 minutes to check in each round. Stalling = ban.

Top Cut is BO3 as well!

If you make Top Cut consider Streaming your game on our Discord Servers (or sending the link to your Twitch there) so more people can watch it!

Ties:

Players can agree on a tie (call a judge) or the game can end up in a tie. Time will not count as a tie. Call a judge to determine the winner. You better have your screenshots ready.

Connection issues:

If connection issues occur mid-game, the player with the Victory screen will be given the win.

Remember to screenshot your victory screen in the case of a match result dispute: time on the cellphone or computer is a must.

Streaming:

Players are allowed to stream their games. We suggest you use delay. Stream sniping will lead to a ban from all future tournaments and the Ranked SoloQ Server.

Breaking rules:

Using game exploits or cursing the other player will get you disqualified.

Discord:

• Contacting Judges: Please only use Limitless or join rooms to talk to judges unless they ask you to send them evidence there.
• Be respectful to all players and judges as they will be towards you too, you may get penalized if you are not.
• Climbing the ranked ladder and farming MMR will get you prizes by the end of the season (next expansion) and spots in future tournaments.

Number of Rounds

The number of Rounds will be dependent on the number of participants that check-in and submit a decklist.

• 4-8 players = 3 Swiss Rounds, and no Top Cut
• 9-16 players = 4 Swiss Rounds, and Top 4 Cut
• 17-32 players = 6 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8 Cut
