Sakura Series : Week 1

This tournament is a bi-weekly Pokémon TCG Pocket bracket ran and hosted by sherichery. Before entering please make sure to read all of the rules to ensure a smooth tournament experience. Best of luck to all players and have fun!

Decklist Submission

Players must submit one decklist via Limitless before the tournament begins. Decks not submitted on time or decks that differ from the submitted list will result in an automatic drop from the tournament.

Check-In

Players must check in within 5 minutes of their match's start time. Failure to check in on time will result in an automatic match loss. A second failure to check in will result in tournament disqualification.

Tournament Structure

The Sakura Series plays all matches in Swiss Rounds; meaning matches are Best-of-Three (BO3) with 35-minute rounds and a 5-minute check-in period for each round. Each round you will be paired with a new opponent and you will earn points depending on the result of the match which are as follows:

• Match Win : 3 points
• Match Tie : 1 point
• Match Loss : 0 points

This tournament will cap at 256 players and the number of rounds will be dependent on the number of participants who check in and submit a decklist. This cap is currently in the developmental phase and could increase in the near future. The number of rounds is as follows:

• 4-8 players = 3 Swiss Rounds, and no Top Cut
• 9-16 players = 4 Swiss Rounds, and Top 4 Cut
• 17-32 players = 5 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8 Cut
• 33-64 players = 6 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8 Cut
• 65-136 players = 7 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8 Cut
• 137-256 players = 7 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8

Connection Issues / Bugs

If connection issues or bugs are to occur before the game begins, players should try the match again. If they are to occur mid-match, please contact a judge through the Limitless portal for assistance and support.

Match Streaming

Both players are allowed to stream their games. We suggest all players streaming their matches do so with a 1-2 minute delay to avoid potential stream-sniping.

Banned Cards

• None

All cards currently available within the app are legal for play.

Behavior

Players must maintain good conduct and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The Sakura Series does not tolerate disrespect or harassment of any kind and any offenses will result in an automatic game loss. Repeated offenses will lead to tournament disqualification.
