# Pokémon TCG Pocket Tournament Rules

This tournament will be cast by LePolett on Twitch : www.twitch.tv/lepolett.
For the smooth running of the tournament, please ensure you have a stable connection and the ability to stream your screen on Discord so we can retrieve the video feed for commentary.
At any time during each round, the caster may appear in the website chat to inform you that they will be commentating on your match. Please respect this and join the "Waiting Room" channel on Discord. An admin will move you to the "CAST Tournament" channel. Share your screen live, mute yourself and wait for admin consent before starting the game.
If the tournament is full, please join the Discord to stay informed about upcoming editions. Also, a new edition will be organized each week. Be ready for the next editions !

You can stream your POV on your Twitch, Youtube or Kick channels. Its easier for us to cast some of your games if your POV is on live stream !
How to Register
- Click the "Register now" button to sign up for the event.
- Submit your decklist via the dashboard. You can build your 20-card Pocket deck using the Deck Builder feature and copy/paste it into the decklist submission form. ONLY ONE DECK AUTHORIZED
- Tournament Check-In is required. A yellow "Check In" button will appear on the dashboard one hour before the start of the event.
- The deadline to register, submit a deck, and complete check-in is the same as the published tournament start time.
How to Play
- Matches are played on the Pokémon TCG Pocket application using the Private Match feature of the game.
- For the lobby code, one of you need to create a lobby code from the game and write it on the Limitless chat.
- This event is played live in one sitting. Report your match results through the tournament dashboard — please keep it open for the duration of the event.
- We highly recommend that all players take screenshots of their match victory screens.
- Please read all details below for more information about the tournament’s structure and policies.
New Player Resources
This may be the first Pokémon TCG Pocket tournament for some players. That’s exciting, but it can also be a learning process! If you are already familiar with the game and the Limitless platform, please help out your opponents if they need assistance. Be kind to each other!

Deck Rules
- Standard format: All currently available Pokémon TCG Pocket cards are allowed.
- Decklist submission: You must submit a decklist prior to the start time and use that deck for the duration of the event.
Structure
Swiss System: You will be paired with a new opponent each round, aiming to earn as many wins/points as possible.
- Match win: 3 points
- Match Tie : 1 point
- Match loss: 0 point
Top Cut: At the end of the Swiss rounds, the top players will advance to a single-elimination bracket.
Best-of-3: All matches in this tournament are best-of-three games. You will play up to three games against each opponent; the first player to win two games wins the match.
Round Duration: 35-Minute Rounds | 5-Minute Check-In Period
- Once a new round is paired, all players will have 40 minutes to complete their match with their opponent.
- You must complete check-in within the first 5 minutes of the round. Coordinate the Match Password with your opponent and begin play within that period. Players who are late and/or non-responsive may incur penalties, including match loss and possible removal from the event.
- If a round finishes early, the next round may start ahead of schedule—please keep your dashboard open at all times during the event.
Tournament Policies
-Bug Abuse : Abusing a bug in the game will result in disqualification if proven true."
- Proof of Match Result: Players are encouraged to take a screenshot of the victory details screen for each game. Keep these until the end of the tournament in case of a dispute. If two players disagree on a game’s outcome and neither has proof, the game will be scored as a double loss.
- Game Loss Due to Connectivity Issues: Each game initiated should count toward the match outcome. If a player’s game becomes unresponsive due to internet or app issues, that player should accept the game loss.
- Slowplay/Stalling: Players are expected to act at a reasonable pace. Intentionally slow-playing is considered unsporting conduct and should be reported (with screenshots if possible).
- Incomplete Matches: At the end of a scheduled round, any incomplete matches will be automatically scored as a draw, which is equivalent to a double loss. No benefit is gained from not completing the match on time.
- Missed Check-In: Check-in each round lets organizers know who is active and ready to play. If you miss check-in but intend to continue, please inform the organizers.
- Dropping from the Event: If you no longer wish to play, use the red "Drop" button on your dashboard to avoid being paired in future rounds.
- Family-Friendly Community: We welcome players of all ages. You are expected to conduct yourself appropriately and keep discussions polite. Inappropriate content in usernames, language, or any other context may result in removal from the event.
