Pokémon TCG Live

Welcome to the return of Absolem TCG tournaments!

We are a small group of Belgian players, from the Albion League! Our goal is once again to organize weekly casual tournaments for you, where you can train and test your deck against other, international players! We try to organize 1 challenge (no top cut) and 1 cup (with top cut) per week!

Some rules:

  • Our Challenge tournament is Standard Format, open deck, BO1, 30min Swiss rounds, no top cut.

  • We will follow the official Pokémon guidelines for League Challenges to determine the amount of rounds we will play, as found in the tournament rulebook.

  • For now, there is no prizing for our tournaments, since we have no sponsor or anything. We do save up our own codes to give away at the end of the Season to the best placed individuals in our rankings!

  • Check-in will begin one hour before the start of the tournament. Check-in is compulsory at the start of the tournament and before each round. If you don't check in two rounds in a row, you'll be dropped by the judges for inactivity!

  • We know PTCG Live is full of bugs. We hope everyone understands that we can't do anything about that, but we'll try to rule as fair as possible in any case of a bug happening during a match.

  • Disconnection = game loss. (Only when disconnection happens during setup, we try to restart the match one time. If it crashes again, it will be a game loss.)

  • A genuine tip: Please try to remember to take a screenshot of your 'Victory'-screen and hold onto it for a couple of minutes, in case a dispute takes place and you need to prove your win.

  • Invitational points are rewarded to top players for our own Absolem TCG Invitational! This Invitational will take place after 20 Challenges and 20 Cups, so at least 40 tournaments in total (maybe a few extra in between), with the top 32 players in our rankings! For the points, we follow the official Challenge and Cup point structure!

  • Our tournaments are mainly for fun. So please be patient and friendly towards each other. And most importantly: have fun!

It is better to join our discord server, but this is not an obligation to take part in the tournament: https://discord.gg/5DdYNb2rDp
