Oceanic Timezone Weekly Tournament for the casuals! A tournie for beginners wanting to dip their toes in the water.

EVERY WEEK, A WHEEL WILL BE SPUN TO DETERMINE NEXT WEEK'S DECK GIMMICK :)

This week's Gimmick is - KANTO GYM LEADERS - Players must select 1 Gym Leader Support Card and 1 Pokemon they used from Gen 1. The rest of the deck can be any card, but you cannot use any other Gym Leader card (e.g. Misty + Sabrina is NOT ALLOWED).

A list of the Pokémon relating to each Gym Leader can be found in Discord. Deck lists must be submitted through Limitless.

Important Note: a breach of the Deck Gimmick rules will result in a disqualification from the tournie.

How to Enter or Any Questions

To enter, you must join the discord and ask either myself, Dyslight or Matsu for the code to register or if you have questions.

Check-in

Check-in starts an hour before the tournament begins. Players who do not check-in will be dropped from the tournament, but may do late registration.

Rounds

Rounds are BO3 matches: They are 35 minutes long with 5 minutes to check-in each round.

Connection issues may occur. If they happen before the game begins (the game never starts) then users should try again. However, if connection issues occur mid-game, the player with the Victory screen will be given the win.

Remember to screenshot your victory screen in the case of a match result dispute.

Breaking rules, using game exploits, harassment, etc. will result in bans.

Contacting Judges

Please only use limitless or public discord channels to talk to judges.

Format

The number of Rounds will be dependent on the number of participants that check in and submit a decklist.

9-16 players = 5 Swiss Rounds, and Top 4 Finals

17-32 players = 5 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8 Finals

33-64 players = 6 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8 Finals

65-128 players = 7 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8 Finals
