POCKET CIRCUIT - PILOT TOURNAMENT [PHILIPPINES ONLY]

This tournament is a password-protected test tournament hosted by Pokémon Philippines Community. To obtain the password, please contact @alphatoronado on the Discord server.

Format:

Phase 1: Best of 3 Swiss Rounds Total number of Rounds depends on the final number of checked-in players.

  • 4-8 players: 3 Swiss Rounds
  • 9-16 players: 4 Swiss Rounds
  • 17-32 players: 5 Swiss Rounds
  • 33-64 players: 6 Swiss Rounds
  • 65-128 players: 7 Swiss Rounds

Phase 2: Best of 3 Single Elimination Top Cut Top Cut threshold varies based on the final number of checked-in players.

  • 4-8 players: NO TOP CUT
  • 9-16 players: Top 4
  • 17-32 players: Top 8
  • 33-64 players: Top 8
  • 65-128 players: Top 16

Round timer is 35 minutes per round. All games not reported at the end of the round will be considered a tie. Rounds may start before the projected schedule if all matches for a certain round finish ahead of time.

Check-in: You are required to check-in within the hour before the tournament starts and at the start of every round.

  • Check-in prior to the tournament is required to be included in the first round pairings.
  • Failure to check-in within 10 minutes after each round starts would result in a match loss.

Decklist submission: You are required to submit a decklist for this tournament. Please use the Limitless Deck Builder to build and export your deck into the correct format.

How to create a decklist:

  • Go to Limitless Deck Builder > Click the "+New" button > "New Pocket Deck"
  • Select the 20 cards you'll use at the tournament using the Card Search function
  • When you're done, click "Save" > "Share" > "Copy as Text"
  • Paste the text into this tournament's Deck Registration field

Searching for your opponent:

  • On the PTCG Pocket App, go the "Battle" menu > "Versus" > "Private Match"
  • "Enter a password" > "Generate Automatically" (or enter your own unique password)
  • Share the password with your opponent then click "Battle"

Match Reporting:

  • Please report your battle results via Limitless.
  • In case of dispute, please keep a screenshot of the Victory screen handy.

In case of disconnection:

  • If the disconnection occurs at the start of the game (during matchup/before Turn 1), then the players may reconnect again.
  • If the disconnection occurs mid-game, the player with the Victory screen will be considered the winner.

If any issues arise, please ask for a Judge via your match dashboard.
