Welcome to the Route 12 Sleepy Sundays Series!
We are a group of folks that enjoy the control archetype of Pokemon, but we also want to give back to the community by offering fun tournaments for you! We hope you have fun with the series. Best of luck!
Prizing We have 120 codes available in the prize pool for our inaugural tournament. Distribution is as follows:
- 1st: 50 codes
- 2nd: 30 codes
- Top 4: 10 codes
- Top 8: 5 codes
Rules
- Matches are 30 minutes, with a 5 minute check-in window.
- We recommend you have screenshot or video proof of any win or tie.
- Check-in is mandatory for both the overall tournament and each round. Failure to check in will result in a match loss.
- Joining our discord is recommended for up-to-date information on the tournament. You can do so here.
- If your match goes to a timeout, the match will automatically be ruled as a tie. If you believe your opponent is slowplaying, PLEASE call a judge as soon as possible. The only acceptable forms of proof we can take are a link to a stream, a video clip, or your opponent's admission.
- Any tech issues such as crashes or freezes are unfortunately game losses for the player that freezes/crashes. The player with the win screen will recieve the win.
- There are no time extensions.
- You are of course allowed to stream your matches! We recommend you put a delay on your stream to avoid sniping. However, any advantages from streaming such as chat guidance could lead to penalties after investigation. Stream sniping will get similar penalties.
